Diamond Drink Hours

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This is another good thing.

It was very difficult some nights to get your last drink in if it was close to midnight as it could just be a few seconds after when your card was swiped by the bar staff due to crowds and therefore you would be charged and have to go to guest services to have the charge removed which was a waste of your valuable cruising time.

Now its 5am which means that you should have used your vouchers as there is normally no where open at that time that I can think of.

Mick.

Except the last night, you could stay up to midnight and use your drinks from the last day.

Hard to hit 4 - 5 -6 drinks on embarkation day. 😄

One on boarding

one pre dinner

 two with dinner

two after nightly show

OOPS, I went over by one..

Lucky me , my wife is a light drinker and usually stops at 4

I didn't know you could use your Diamond drink vouchers on debarkation day, too. My BFF was on Anthem last month and went down to get her and her husband specialty coffees and was asked if she wanted to use her vouchers for them. Good to know, I love specialty coffee in the morning!

I think we drink most on embarkation day

one on  boarding

one with lunch

one pre dinner

one with dinner

one after dinner.

On other days, I rarely drink prior to pre dinner and mid cruise  seem not to drink at all.

You must not be trying very hard. 😁 I'll have;

At least 2 on the pool deck

1 before dinner

1 during dinner

1 before the show

1 during the show

At least 1 after the show, probably more like 2 or 3 enjoying other events on the ship.

Good planning is a key. We drink (something is usually had at tailgate party preimbarkation)

  • after first lunch in the pool/solarium before rooms are open.
  • on Sailaway
  • Some lounge with a music after dinner (or prior)
  • Welcome aboard show
  • Some lounge with a music

If we cannot finish the last it goes for the next morning pre-breakfast. Could be something like cognac, brandy or Sidecar... so no ice.   🙂
