Saint Greg's Carnival Spirit 8-Day Bahamas - LIVE - February 17, 2024

Recommended Posts

We were on the Spirit in 2006 and loved it. Lots has probably changed and when I saw she was back I was thinking she was getting too old to consider her again. Apparently all the comments here are proving me wrong. I am looking forward to your thoughts. We leave for Nola on Wed. to sail NCL  Breakaway so I will have lots of catching up to do when I get back.

Looking forward to your review.  Love the Spirit-class ships.  So easy to navigate, and never seem crowded.  I didn't mind Bimini - we did go to the beach near the port.  Must have hit it on a "good" day - no smell or anything else that would gross us out.

In Nassau I would always go the Bearded Clam Bar right as you get off the ship, it is located in an alley between two buildings and there is a sign on the street, cracked conch is really good, cold Kalik and Sands.

At some point the movie theater gives out their fancy cups and buckets to get rid of them if you bought the right size. This week they were getting rid of wish buckets with a small popcorn purchase. I actually have three. Don’t know what I’ll do with them. Maybe build a sandcastle.

Treat them as disposable, for house projects, like mixing mortar or epoxy or whatever.  That said, sand castles are a good option too!

Don’t worry it’s not a Christmas tree.

Around these here parts after Christmas the Christmas tree becomes a Mardi Gras tree. My mom does the same thing.

Complementary moon pie. I was never big on moon pies. My mom always bought them. Now I wonder if she did it because she knew I wouldn’t eat them.

What a strange thing to be “complementary”.

Brrrrrr that looks like our 41 degrees we have this morning. It gets up to 80 mid week but what good is that without beautiful ocean views☹️

I would take that. Here in Somerset New Jersey it's 29 degrees and we got a foot of snow overnight! At least it's the light fluffy stuff!

Same with the snow and still snowing here in Cleveland. Our temp is balmy 25 degrees. All I need is a palm tree 🌴 and a margarita 🍹
