The email said I should purchase a premier package when I board. They even priced it and converted it to Canadian $.
However, chat offered to sell it to me yesterday because it did not show I had a package in Princess computers.

I don’t usually drink much, get 1/2 wifi, minibar so I’m not buying it. But yes, it was $80 a week ago.  I am still blocked from purchasing it.

I did not want to end up at GS with a lineup- with others irritated over this, so I am relieved this is over with.

Another glitch that people not on message boards will be surprised with at boarding?  The first cruise will be interesting to see how it goes.

The email provided a link to princess website sanctuary collection FAQ- verifies no premier package- but sanctuary & private restaurant is included if booked before April 23/24 in the categories that are Sanctuary as of October 14/24.

I only know about my booking but maybe yours includes bundle, as you were told on the phone.

I will steer clear of GS on  embarkation day!

Don’t you get to wait in the elite line? Or did I misunderstand your minibar reference?

Yep. It was clear when they did the upgrade that premier wasn't going to be included. But I can completely understand people thinking Princess changed it up.. again...like they do without announcing things. And seeing that they gave Sanctuary for "free" to the mini reserves and balconiess, its not farfetched for people to believe they decided to included it for suites (after seeing it online and their app)  after all the complaints.

I am not one to think I should get something for free, but it really is another Princess IT mess.

But yes, GS will be a madhouse.

Editted: The prices on my cruise have dropped. Right now the Sanctuary minisuite(same size as my S9) is much less than what I book for my S9 and comes with everything except the lounge access. Not sure the extra $135/dy is worth it for the lounge. I might just change it.

My deluxe aft balcony was a category D0 and cost $400 more then those midship.  The description always had “ Includes upgrades & benefits”- meaning exactly what I am getting now- sanctuary and private restaurant- except I cannot book 3 nights in any restaurant, so I will try to walk in to private restaurant.

Since I know what to expect I won’t be in a line up.

After confirmation with 4 sources that the Premier package on my Sun booking is a web error, it remains on my app and personalizer.  I am still blocked from booking a bundle.

I also gave feedback to website about these errors- nothing!

I suppose if I need to go to Guest Services I could go in the elite line, but it is often busier.  I rarely have any reason to go to GS and this SUN package issue for me is resolved.

Not sure why you ask?

I asked because I didn’t realize it was busier.

So I tried chat to ask if I can buy Plus for this Sun booking. There is a conflict with the promotion. They cannot do anything to change my booking that says I purchased Premier. They cannot add Plus. I will have to deal with it on ship.  So, that solves it for me- no package and we will

pay for each item as we go.

I cannot believe the time I have spent on this booking. Done.

Just received phone response to my reporting of these issues with Sun.  Agent could book me a premier package with 2 captains circle credits since I am blocked in the Personalizer and app.

$90 US pp/pd.

No mention about the web errors and nothing fixed.

We will buy Plus or take soda/ wine on. Might be quite a wait to get a drink with so many on ship with packages.

Atleast someone phoned me to address this mess.

I have a S4 Vista , as well.

There will be more passengers having access to the signature- sanctuary inclusions since you booked.

Good luck getting a drink when you’re in The Sanctuary. We have just got off Sun today before the new Sanctuary class kicks in.  Took 20 mins to get a drink when only a dozen or so people up there. Apparently they are doubling the staff up there, but at full capacity, getting a drink could take a while. Also it will be difficult to get a sunbed up there as there are not nearly enough for all the extra passengers who will have access.

I no longer have any expectations after reading about last few days.

I'll wait until November to adjust my expectations... I'd like to read some reviews from the post-changes Caribbean sailings.

The smaller, private restaurant, separate suite area of Sanctuary were my main reasons for trying out this ship.

When I read they closed dining area & sanctuary for private events yesterday, I dropped any expectations I had for a special new experience.

We will still enjoy the cruise. We rarely get food or drinks delivered, so not at all worried about that.

It was really poor by Princess Corporate yesterday on board. Great to see so many cruise vloggers that we follow, but really bad that they closed off so many areas for the paying public. Could not go to The Sanctuary, the Signature lounge was overrun with visitors, and the Dome and the Arena also closed. A lot of very unhappy passengers. They even put a red carpet down for them right down the centre of the midship elevators, which made it very difficult for me to get out of the lift on my scooter. Fortunately they invited the suite guests to join the vloggers in The Arena for Sam Ryder’s awesome performance, but so many other guests were furious which I can totally understand. We also had an extra day in Southampton (so 48 hours in total) instead of a sea day and also constant banging, drilling noises everyday of the cruise as they were dismantling Park 19. The concierge team in the signature lounge were fantastic and did everything they could to make our cruise special, but their hands were tied due to poor decisions made by Corporate. The ship is beautiful, as was our Suite and we had fun with our friends, but am glad that we are cancelling our next two cruises on her.

Thanks for share. It is really important to get various perspectives.

Not to mention none of them in the shade.

I’d love to know if you are given the option to purchase either Plus or Premier when you get on the ship.

I’m going to be very unhappy if this glitch prevents us from purchasing a package on my phone and we have to go to guest services to resolve. I, like you, am currently blocked from purchasing a package pre-cruise because of this issue. I’m also slightly irritated that we weren’t able to purchase Premier before the price increase.

I'm sure they will sell package to you when you board.

I won't be posting,on here (fed up), but will write up a review of my October 19/24 SUN-Sanctuary balcony in the REVIEW section on this site.

Thanks. I’ll look for your review as you are sailing 2 weeks before our cruise. I do hope you have a great cruise and that Princess has it together when you board. 🤞🤞🤞

Quick question for those sailing in the near future.

I'm curious if the cabins have nightlights in the bathrooms?

Also, are there USB ports in the nightstands?

I seem to remember people saying yes to both when she first sailed but we will be on the Sun in December and now that it's closer I want to make sure.

Yes, and yes.

USB on both sides of the bed and on the desk.

Motion sensor under nightstands and in bathroom.
