Buy One Deluxe Beverage Package Get One 50% Off

Recommended Posts

Is this considered one of the 'better' sales ?

So it's showing at $81.99 per day so for easy math lets say

$82.00 + $41.00 = $123.00 plus $22.14 gratuities = $145.14 X 7 days = $1015.98 total

This is almost a $200 savings from the pervious offer of $72.99 per person

That's a horrible 'deal'

Got to believe whatever new price comes up after this 'sale' goes away

will be better. Dang.

I checked the upcoming cruises we have booked (4), and the lowest price for that package is $61.99 per day, which isn't that great either. The lowest we ever got it for was $42 per day, but that's been a few years now.

A “buy one get one for 50% off” sale is basically a 25% off sale - meaning each person’s discount is 25% off the regular price.

A much better deal is when they have a 30% off the regular price for each person.

Keep track also of the “regular price” because sometimes RCI increases that.

I just paid $69 but we just booked this cruise for June and I didn't think it would drop much at this point. So, just figured I'd jump on it

And if the price drops, you can always cancel it and rebuy at the lower price.

Ignore the manipulated sales gimmick and just check the final price.
Then decide.

Pre-booking on our upcoming Wonder of the Seas was a little over $1k for my wife and I. Still a good savings based on our cruise-drinking affinity 🙂

Is this for a 7 night cruise or longer? If 7 nights, that’s a great price. If longer, then they are usually less.

This horrible promotion ends today so looking forward to what the new offer becomes.

Does anyone know if the offers are per cruise or per individual?

From what I've seen, it's based on the cruise. When we were able to get the package for $42 per day, it was a Bogo promotion that lasted just a few days. Another couple that went with us got the same price, and they were in a different cabin and at a different C&A level, so it was not based on the individual.

But back then the 'normal' prices were not as high as they are now, so I don't anticipate that low of a price again.
