Freedom of the Seas Questions

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We were avid cruisers of royal Caribbean and strayed to Celebrity for the past few years which we love but want to experience a combination of both royal and celebrity each year.

We have some questions if you don't mind answering, again, its been a few years since we last were on a Royal Caribbean cruise.

1-  We are diamond, do we have access to the diamond club on the Freedom of the Seas, and if so what time at night does it close?

2-  Celebrity offers us discounts on internet and the drink package, does Royal offer discounts for diamond members for the drink and wi fi packages?

3-  The Freedom is due for dry dock next April is it showing wear and tear now?

4-  What time does the viking crown lounge close at night?  Is there music there late at night?

5-  What time does breakfast end in the MDR?

6-  What brand of shampoo/conditioner/soap do they use?

7-  Celebrity has the sunset bar outside and is open late at night does the Freedom have a bar open at night and if so which bar?

Thank you for the help!

1. The diamond club is now called the crown lounge. It opens with your card. There is food in the morning and during happy hour and a concierge who has hours. It doesnt close at a certain time but they remove the food. You get 4 free drinks a day. These can be used anywhere any time. If you want a drink during happy hour you have to use a voucher. Drinks are not included during happy hour like celebrity.

I've never seen music in the crown lounge. So no end time. Schooners seems like the late night hang out. Idk. I dont drink much.

Toiletries are a bar of soap and all in one dispenser unless you are at 340 pts or higher.

Venue operating hours should be listed in the app (set it to the current sailing).

Any ship more than a couple of years old could show wear/tear.
