tntfox Posted March 17 #1 Share Posted March 17 We’re booked on a cruise in January. We’ve moved since the passports were issued. Do we contact the State Department to make the address change, or is there an easier way to do this; i.e, post office? Thanks!
Outerdog Posted March 17 #2 Share Posted March 17 There is no need to notify the State Department regarding an address change after your passport is issued. See #9: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/passport-help/faqs.html#:~:text=My address has changed.,after you received your passport.

Rare Essiesmom Posted March 17 #5 Share Posted March 17 My previous passports had a place to enter your home address in pencil. The new one from last year only has a place for phone, email, and next of kin in pencil. I never had to notify anyone when I moved. EM

EM I don't have my passport since it is kept in our safe deposit box but this is what memory is telling me- the data is written in the book by the holder in pencil so it can be changed as needed.
