Including service?

Well if it does include a service charge then the 'compensation' for the loss of the diamond privilege means two outings instead of one. (give or take the odd $)

It is too early in the morning to attempt the arithmetic, but it is such an odd price that it looks as if it includes service.

Good heavens, I don’t think I’ve been at best best since about 1977.😀

Goodness, aren’t you young? It was the year I started work, and was never as happy as I had been before, particularly in the mornings!

I turn 60 on QE this June in Alaska. I’m probably the average age of a Cunard passenger. I reserved a bicycle ride excursion around a glacier during that voyage so age is just a number. Now I need to remember how to ride a bike!

Another thing I can’t do, but I believe once learnt, never forgotten.

I thought we were previously informed that Tramonto would be ‘Included in the cruise fare’

I thought that too, sure I read it somewhere.

It might be my fault. I fear I said I had inferred it from something I had read, which I can’t now remember. If it was me, the inference was wrong, and I grovelingly apologise for raising everyone’s hopes.😢

I don't think it was you 😀 I'm sure I saw it on Cunard's own website. Maybe I had a dream ....

Just picked up on one particular informative  Facebook group that Cunard have today unveiled the wonderful new range of alternative

dining options on board Queen Anne.

That's an Italian themed Tramonto....

and an Indian styled Aranya....

How on earth will we manage to try them all on the Maiden?

😁😁

I knew I had read it somewhere… Here is the source from Solent Richard!

That should also answer the service charge question as it clearly states, "No, service charges do not apply to cover charges." But then it also clearly states that Tramonto is included within the fare. So who knows.🤷‍♂️

It seems that someone at Cunard HQ changed their minds. An August 2023 press release announcing the Michel Roux partnership says :

Three of these original venues aboard the luxury cruise line’s newest ship will be alternative evening dining options, available as a supplement, complementing the inclusive fare options offered for lunch or dinner in Tramonto and the Golden Lion pub.
