Princess App, why only one boarding pass when both checked in?

So we both checked in on the app, but only see the boarding pass for one of us. What gives? We have time so I figured I would start on CC and then give Princess a call. I have a guess which would give me the better and correct answer.

Not to worry .. in ivermectin 40 cruises using the app, nobody has ever asked to see our boarding pass at check in.

Did you select your wife's name? All we used was our medallion at the embarkation terminal.

Your medallion will bring up everything they need to check you in.

They really don’t use the QR code.  Maybe one day. Lol

Never needed the boarding pass since restart. Just wave your medallion and walk in

Did not require a boarding pass for recent cruise. Showed passport, that's it. I was blue lane. Had to detour 5 minutes to get my medallion. If you are green lane, medallion in hand it's all you need.

Thank you everyone, that makes a lot of sense and we do have our Medallions so we are good to go then. Each line does it different so just learning Princess now.

We were skeptical about the medallions pre cruise. Really liked them while on the cruise. Post cruise we wish Celebrity and RC would follow Princess lead on this technology.
