If they are taking credit for the re-vamped Double rooms, it is back to the drawing board, I'd say.

They are responsible for the refurbished staterooms, but in fairness to them at least in regards to the staterooms, they had to work within the constraints (including some big headaches) created by Vittorio Garroni.  What they do with a blank sheet could be a lot different/better.

 

….or not.

 

Either way though, GEM remains a sharp turn from the designers that OC used prior…. I keep reminding myself of the importance of change.

Has anyone heard how many ships Crystal plans to build?  I may have missed it, but that info did not appear in any of the articles.

I read it "somewhere" - 2 ocean ships and 2 expedition ships.

Very impressive builds- all of my older favorite Princess ships, all of Silversea- including the magnificent Nova- best design ever IMHO- and the soon to sail Ray! 

Crystal will be marvelous with new ships in coming years!
