Halloween on a ship

Silly question. We’re doing Singapore to LA in October 2024. We have been on 20 plus cruises but never on Halloween. We love to dress up. Do the ships usually have Halloween parties and do people dress up. Cruise is 32 days. So don’t wanna waste space bringing costumes if we won’t be wearing them . Thanks 😜

I haven't been on Princess for Halloween, but I have been on NCL and MSC and both definitely have plenty of Halloween activities, including costume contests.

It’s always fun to do a Halloween cruise.  Most of the crew dresses up and they are really having fun with it.  Last Halloween we were on a 47 night South Pacific cruise and only a small portion of guests dressed up.  

 

So, go with what you want to do.

We didn’t dress up, but we enjoyed watching those that did.

Halloween was embarkation day for me on the CB last October.  It was a good time and nice way to start the cruise.  Lots of people dressed up, ship was decorated.  Halloween party in the piazza that night.

Yes! They really celebrate and dress up. Crew and guests. Very, very creative!  

 

We were on Majestic last Halloween

 

Production cast dancers did Thriller (Michael Jackson video dance).

 

Cruise staff led by Kristoff performed as the Addams Family!  

 

Huge dance party afterwards in the piazza!

Our Halloween cruise last year had a lot of Waldo's from "Where's Waldo".   I don't know if it was a large group or just coincidence.   They didn't seem to hang together, so maybe the latter, IDK.
