It just really blows my mind. I love my home, those friends, the kids and grands, the shops, driving my car. You name it. MAYBE two a year but more likely one every year or two.

Some people just hate their cooking.

I have been on 12 cruises since June 2021 and have 2 booked. We did 8 cruises in the first 13 months after covid. We received 2 free cruises and a few really good deals (120$ each for 7 nights in a balcony room).

Considering this post and your screen name, I'm guessing you don't do land-only travel 🙂

Well, we are certainly in a new era - but I am reluctant to consider it “normal”.

Agree.

I personally don't think that we are ever in a "normal" era new or not.

Too much change globally in every regard to ever consider being normal again, whatever that was to begin with.

We are back to our normal 2 cruises a year , two in 2021, 2022, 2023 and one in 2024 with another one booked , most has been celebrity with a couple rccl all in suites . Looking forward to returning to MSc yacht club later this year.

Looking forward to upcoming Oceania sailing - which provides the quality of food, service, and general experience which used to be  “normal” on the likes of HAL and Celebrity - so I’d be inclined to say Oceania is the “new normal”.
