I'm not going anywhere until they X institutes a "Solo Supplement" policy and the drink allowance benefits.

By the way, I don't want to research, but does X have the same gifts as offered by the C&A. eg..  water, wine allowances, bogo, etc.

No. The benefits for Celebrity Loyalty and Royal Caribbean loyalty are different.

What we have is reciprocal level but  the benefits are specific to each line.

LOL...yup, we and my friend Gary/Mary were already starting to stray.  Gary way earlier than us.  😉  Though we have gone further...more to to the "dark side"...with Viking.  😄

When MSC started giving their highest loyalty status without ever cruising with them, it gave RCCL a wake up call. I don't know how many made the change but hear that their Yacht Club prices are very well priced below Royal and Celebrity suites.

Love this.  I have been wanting to try Celebrity but have been so close to Pinnacle that I felt like I would have been "wasting" the points to go with another cruise line.  We had also talked about trying it out after we hit Pinnacle next month, but then we would be losing out on the benefits that we had earned through Royale.  The wifi we will get as Zenith is a game changer for us because we work remotely onboard.  Looking forward to trying Celebrity!

Conversely a loss for Royal as I stated.

At the end of the day, it all bubbles up to one set of books. RCG's three SBU's are responsible for their own bottom line, but shareholders only care about the RCG bottom line. I doubt that the net revenue from the Casino comps would move the needle much at all.

I would not hold my breath waiting for any personalized communication.

We have received two emails from X, but none from RCL or Silversea. The first one announced the new status match scheme, and the second was a video from the X president discussing the match from an X perspective. We have not received any communication from any of the three lines informing us of our new status on the lines - it just magically changed in the apps and on the web account pages.

I just checked on Celebrity and I’ve been ‘granted’ Zenith status.  😊

As of this morning, marketing emails from X now show my status as Zenith. Still nothing but crickets from RCL however.

Isn't that a one time only match? Or has it changed?

The investment was buying and holding Royal stock and presently sitting a nice fat gain.  Bought as I believed in the company and the shareholder's benefit is nice little perk.

Ditto for me as well.  With the cruises I have been taken, rather frequently 😉...it's nice I can use the stock OBC on all three lines.  Has just been RCI, but X is coming up (OBC applied already), and want to cruise Silversea in the future.

Then later...if and when I am not cruising any longer (though I don't see that happening just yet)...I can hopefully cash in the gain.  Win..win.  🙂

Cashed ours out in 2014 and used the proceeds to help pay off the mortgage🤑

Indeed all of the ads you see for RCI pertains to young families pictured...and in fact NBC Today show just showed an article about the young adults cruising more.....wanting that theme park/party atmosphere.   So...where does that leave we...the loyal cruisers of the gray hair variety?

Thus, I think this loyalty match luring the older set over to X and Silverseas is a good thing for us...though I just wish they would put an X ship at our local port in PC....or is that in the works?

Mortgage???   What is that?  😄

What WAS that😇 ... now the cash flow that used to go into that black hole every month is dedicated to feeding our cruising addiction😇

Equinox will home port in PC starting this November, and will be replaced by Apex in November 2025.

Wow...thanks!  Guess I have not been keeping up with X placements at all...now I will.  🙂

We are really booked up from now until May of 2026...including EN this November, and then Adventure Nov. 2025 when they come in.  But we have a "hole to fill" from December 2025 to May 2026 after that.  🤗

Our next X isn't until April, 2026 (so far) for a B2B but it'll be on the not-even-out-yet XCEL! Don't know where it will be parked yet but just wanted to experience a brand new X ship! Happy cruising to all of us! Cheers!

Update: It's scheduled to port from FLL.

We booked an 11 night southern on Ascent out of FLL for December 1-12, 2025. Filled a similar hole in our schedule between October 2025 and February 2026.
