Rare little britain Posted June 19 #1 Share Posted June 19 Thinking about booking but it’s been many years since we’ve been on! Please remind me which are the best V3 cabins? Any hidden gems? thanks 🙏
Rare 81Zoomie Posted June 19 #2 Share Posted June 19 Not sure which are best, but I would avoid deck 6 forward over the lounge. It’s loud during daily practices and in the evenings. The base reverberates in the cabin and we heard muffled noise as well. 2
Ithikan Posted June 19 #3 Share Posted June 19 Our favorite veranda cabin is a V3 - 6031 - which we've reserved for a sailing in 2026. Fewer cabins on deck 6 mean fewer people in the hallways, speedier cabin service, potentially more stable ride in rough weather and we've never yet been disturbed by noise from the Cabaret Lounge. luv2travel90266 Posted June 20 #4 Share Posted June 20 We have been choosing V1 cabins on deck 7 midship. Smooth ride, No obscured views and the self laundry is on the same floor too. Cruise cabins above and below. Veranda plus is not of interest.
Rare uktog Posted June 20 #5 Share Posted June 20 For the extra I would take a V2 at least.

Rare oddjob16 Posted June 20 #7 Share Posted June 20 Agree about the noise from Cabaret during shows and rehearsals. My tip would be any V3 between the forward and aft lifts. Welcome on board again, Lesley.
Rare uktog Posted June 20 #8 Share Posted June 20 (edited) Watch out for the service doors on Deck 6. There’s a few of them that seem to be used quite a lot by staff and can slam a bit (well certainly on Onward). We also found if we were too near the aft we were sharing the attendant (there’s now only one) with the big suite that got priority and in our case had demanding occupants. It seemed the single attendant was really stretched there - much more than the team on Deck 7 and 8 (he was very good just over stretched) Edited June 20 by uktog
excitedofharpenden Posted June 20 #9 Share Posted June 20 Have you looked at the cabin spreadsheet? There is quite a bit of commentary about deck 6 standard balcony cabins. Some of the posts are from a while ago, but still hold good I think. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1jXskIfD3jAxIxyxk1z8qBYjJDi8g8GjNfkGJI2lMPEw/htmlview?pli=1 Phil 1

excitedofharpenden Posted June 21 #13 Share Posted June 21 I favour those that are over Discoveries Bar area. Get a PDF deck plan diagram so you can line up what's above and below. Other side of Discoveries Bar (even numbers) is blank white. Crew area. I had noise in the middle of the night in one of those from crew laundry or kitchens or something. Ethel6666 Posted June 21 #14 Share Posted June 21 We stayed in V3 6068 on Onward. It was fine. Didn’t notice any noise. View wasn’t obstructed at all. It was handy for the stairs and lifts to restaurants and cafe. Also the laundry just up one flight and a few doors along.
Mrs.Dukes Posted June 22 #15 Share Posted June 22 We stayed in 6073 on Pursuit and thought it was good.
