We haven’t sailed with Princess for a couple of years.

Does anyone who has sailed recently know if we can still swap the minibar set up for 2 coffee cards? We have always done this in the past but not sure if this has changed now.

many thanks 😊

No, coffee cards are long gone.  You can swap alcohol for alcohol or non alcohol for non alcohol.  Or, trade all for non alcohol or trade the whole mini bar for 1 bottle of wine.

Same as before, call RS once OB and make the switch.

They can load 15 coffee but not cards. It gets loaded onto your cruise card/.medallion and doesn't carry over if you don't use all the coffee on the current cruise.

Are you saying you can once again swap a minibar setup for 15 specialty coffees? If so is it 15 per cabin or 15 per elite passenger in the room?

No they do not. The coffee card program, including the electronic one was killed early in the restart.

The electronic one had some systems issues in how the system handled it. It would show up as a drink.package to waiters. Instead of fixing the system they canceled the program. Especially since they were pushing packages anyway.

Have you done this recently?  I thought exchanging mini-bar for coffees was long gone!

Also, long gone 🤢

That was the case when we took a pause from Princess a year or so ago but when cruzsnooze stated otherwise I couldn’t help but wonder if it was back. Thanks.

Thanks for all replies.....we last sailed on Enchanted Princess late 2022 and could still swap for coffee cards (electronic, not physical cards).

Such a shame it haas changed.
