But even so, most, if not all(?), of these USB ports you find in hotels and public places and even the newer ships are all low power and charge very slowly. You are much better off with with your own charger and an adaptor if necessary. For hotel rooms and ships, I highly recommend a multi-port like @orville99 suggests.
