Infinite Veranda Hack option

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but wondering, we were in IV on Edge a couple years ago and I didn't like the fact that, during the nite, the only way to look outside was to open the automatic screen which wakes the other person in the cabin.

Or to leave the screen open all nite and have the room flooded with light.

Getting ready to book Edge again and trying to decide between IV and SV.

Has anyone come up with a 'hack' to fix this?

Wondering if we could 'hang' a curtain using magnetic hooks, to cover the windows and allow us to look out during the nite?

Any ideas?

Our 1st Edge cruise I brought a curtain and hung along side the bed with magnetic hooks from the ceiling.  It was enough that DH could sleep and I could partially open the window covering.

People have cobbled things like this together, because bringing a black shower curtain and such epitomizes modern luxury 🤪

The 1st photo was of our cabin.  I deleted it a while ago.  I used a black out curtain.

We have booked a Celebrity Suite on Beyond and it looks like there is an opaque screen between the bedroom and the sitting area.  DW goes to bed a little earlier than I do, so I am thinking that might be a problem.
