Looks great.  We’re just off Queen Anne and the concierge lounge does not offer food. On the other hand, we did have a supply of Qtips in the bathroom, along with cotton balls.

I think I prefer the snacks. Easier to psckv QTips.

with all the time zone changes people are getting out later every day and at 10:00 it really gets busy.

Looks like a beautiful sea day

It is beautiful.  Was getting chilly yesterday as we head northeastward.   I think high was 50F and light winds.

At yesterday’s briefing Captain said we should hit some heavier seas and wind probably on Tuesday.

Today is starting overcast but very smooth with no white caps.

For Homer, find the North America panel (there's a history to these panels, it is part of the company's heritage). Then look for the Statue of Liberty, then look a little below that.

That’s on the agenda for today.

Decks 7 to 11.  Walk through spa reception area deck 7 forward behind Carinthia (Winter Garden as was).  Entrance to lift is a little tucked away in a corner.

This is like a scavenger hunt.   You definitely have to find your way around the ship.

Starting to remind me of the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose.

Apt comparison to the Winchester Mystery House. Once you figure out the QM2 layout, it isn’t that complicated. Of course, once you figure out statistical quantum mechanics, it isn’t that complicated, either…

So glad you’re enjoying QM2. We have very happy memories of her as we did a TA for our honeymoon.  My husband’s new wedding ring followed us home on the following EB TA!
We are currently in Tokyo and boarding Regatta tomorrow.

Enjoy the rest of your trip and your UK travels. I went to university in Newcastle and I’m a Lancaster girl so Kendal is very familiar to me.

One thing I really like is that on the bridge information screen they show the dates and city to change our clocks.

On this crossing we only have 4 because DST began on Sunday in the UK

Found the famous hidden glass elevator.  there are actually 2.     Easiest way to find is walk the deck until you see it.

Another quick option.   In Commodore Club in the corner next to Churchill Lounge and also opposite corner.

Or an easier way to find the 'Glass scenic elevator is - 'Port Side of the Commodore Bar' ( past the Piano) situated over in the corner- sharp right - Ignore the entrance inn/out . Lift can be called for down to deck 7 or up to deck 11 - lift will ignore deck 10 suites .

Edited to add

Oh my goodness you beat me to my post   😅

Have you found the Bridge Viewing Area?

And how splendidly calm the sea is.

We have been to the look out and observation deck.  Is there also one on the deck with bridge.

BTW they were having Bridge Classes in Atlantic room.  LOL

I mostly use YouTubeTV so we can watch our local news as well as our recorded programs.

Generally streaming well.  Been strange in the late evenings 11-12 we loose connectivity.  Haven’t figured it out yet.

On our TV there is a cord to tilt TV for easier insertion of the HDMI device.

The back wall of the bridge is glass, so you can watch what they are doing, check how many are awake etc.

We also like to visit forward Deck 2? where they have games and puzzles out on tables.   Also great place to watch the waves go over the windows in rough seas.   Our Yatze dice kept falling to floor.  Had to shake them in the game box lid.

Wonderful view of the sea, and, if you are very lucky, passing dolphins.

Maybe you can check if the Bridge officers are taking Bridge lessons…?
