I did it, I did, it, I did it!

Booked Cabin 1100 that is. I've read so much about it and I finally got it (although not till March 2008). I'm an aft lover, and have stayed in aft most all of my cruises, but I've read about this cabin and just have to give it a try.

Just had to share my delight. Now is somone going to rain on my parade and tell me 1100 is a mistake! :(

Oooh - I'm so happy for you - and envious too. We too love aft, but have never sailed in the coveted cabin 1100. From all that I have read and the pictures I've seen, you're going to love, love, love it. Enjoy!

Sue

I'm hoping all that I've read, which has been very positive, will be my experience also. It's funny Sue, no matter how far out when you book a cruise, the excitement comes back. Do I need to see a doctor?????? :D

Please let us all know how you like it although I guess we'll have to wait awhile to find out.

When I make my final payment on Jewel in July, I'm going to ask my TA if, by any chance, 1100 was canceled so I can switch! I figure it doesn't hurt to ask!

You are in for REAL treat! We had that cabin for an Alaskan cruise a couple of years ago. It's my favorite cabin of all the 12+ cruises we've been on. It's in a quiet location with a fabulous veranda. And the walk is good exercise to make up for a few desserts!;)

Have a great cruise.

Awesome sized cabin! Our second cruise coming up and we've moved up from an inside cabin to an OV. This looks much better. You will be able to have nice breakfasts out on the balcony.....we're going to book a balcony cabin for sure, and I will definitely keep 1100 in mind for our next cruise after this one!

You are welcome. They belong to debandbill as I posted above. They love that cabin. They had a sail a way party for all of our Roll Call people leaving a port. All of us that showed up fit on that balcony.

She usually comes a popping in after I have posted these. She could give you all the ins and outs about it. Here's hoping she sees this.

1100 is our favorite cabin, too. The interior layout is identical to the other JS cabins, but the combination of the size of the balcony and all of the light you get on the balcony (many of the other JS balconies are completely covered by the overhang from the Windjammer) make it a big cut above the rest. Here are some more pictures, of 1100 on Radiance, to whet your appetite: http://community.webshots.com/album/548908218rSJtnN

Glad to hear that about the Canal as that is our cruise. By the way, we share a birthday.

Serious about the birthday? How cool! I rarely find anyone with that birthday. So, "Happy Birthday" to your "birthday buddy" just 2 months and 4 days late!
