thanks for the link:) . hadn't found that one.. I love the new pages that they have for Alaska next year on scrapyourtrip but I think it's bad luck to buy b4 we go.. nuts, I know but......I'm only a year behind.

Has anyone been to one of those CKU weekend crops.. big one here in August with registration beginning May 1... I'm kind of a beginner, not sure if its worth it?

When I first became scrapbook obsessed, I scrapped my cruise I went on last September. It was actually a 40 page scrapbook, but here are most of the layouts I did:

http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/album_display.asp?album_id=61294

You can actually see them larger, here, just go to the end of the album. The first scrap page is the last image on page 4, and then it goes backwards from there.

Beautiful layouts! I know that I have seen a few of them posted before - I have admired the formal nights layout for quite a while! Our first cruise happened before I knew anything about scrapbooking - I actually made a layout from the cruise a few weeks ago for our Vacation Scrapbook. Now that I am slightly experienced with scrapping, I am really looking forward to our June Alaska cruise! I have so many photos planned, I feel like it will take a year to scrap them all! :D

KVR....really loved your layouts!! Thanks for taking the time to post them. How do you do the text that appears to be printed right on the paper, is that what you did?

Sorry, I didn't answer earlier. We were on our cruise. :)

I bought several of the scrap booking letters and just placed them on the page. I also have a label printer that will print out anything you type. Got it at Wal-Mart for $17.00. I also have two computer programs that I bought at Walmart that let you type words on the screen and then they print out with the paper. The only problem is you can only use 8 x 10 photo paper in my printer. Can't use the 12 x 12 scrap booking papers.

Great layouts. Thanks for sharing. We just returned from our cruise on Saturday and I'm looking forward to start scrap booking our pictures. All 319 of them. Well, probably just most of them.

I just found this thread and I have to say, I love it! As an avid scrapbooker, I love hearing ideas. One thing I did was collect all the flyers that were thrust into my hands in Ensenada, Mexico. I went to see the blowhole and at the Mexican market there, they give you a tree's worth of paper advertising jewelry, drinks and pharmaceuticals. I took the flyers and randomly glued them to a 12 x 12 card stock page and am using that as a background for pictures of the blowhole. Its a great way to have the memories of the blowhole and the market.

You have some great pages. We stayed at the Konnapoli Beach Hotel too a couple of years ago and we will be going back there in 2 years. Loved that place. Lots of great ideas on your pages that I may have to "borrow". Another couple of good website are www.mybearypatch.com and www.tropicalscrapbooking.com Everyone has alot of great ideas. Love your album!:) Your style is very similar to mine but it's sooo obvious you have been doing this a lot longer.. love your use colors.. thanks for sharing this!

I tend to use a lot of embellishments like ribbon and decorative tape but not on every page... I am doing heritage album for my son for Christmas.. could not get done for birthday this week.. and did an accordion album for his buddy for birthday that he loved.. but that small paper was a PITA

Thank you. I've been scrapbooking for seven years and am currently on the Design Team for a local store. My style is fairly simple/structured - lots of clean lines. I'm currently working on a Christmas gift for my mom and a high school album I've been hired to do.

If you'd like to see layouts OTHER than cruise layouts, here are some from my family book.

I have really enjoyed these posts!!! I've been scrapbooking for a few years now and have done a couple as gifts to the mom's (mine and my mil) and have done one for a Disney trip and am about 2/3rds the way through my Cruise one from the Conquest last year. I think I'm going to get my stuff out and scrap today :)

I got a lot of my stuff from walmart, hobby lobby, a scrapbooking store nearby, and I really like http://www.tropicalscrapbooking.com/

I think you have to join the "snapfish". It is a free service and I never get email from them. Unless I order something. Let me know If you join and still can't get in. I will email you the pic. It was fun doing them.
