Ronnie..I spent 6 hours in my basement yest...cleaning, organizing..and came across my clips..so i sat there and thought about all my memories of last yr..then found the shoe rack (over the door), and other stuff...got sad !!! oh well..that is life

Hey all!!

 

I skimmed the posts because I am BEAT!! I want to post and go chill a bit.

 

Had our first dinner in the dinning room. Whoever asked (my notebook is in the room) there was Prime Rib tonight. Allen, the conceirge, said he would email me the week's menus...I will check email toimorrow. Our 2 table mates are a youngish couple and kind of quiet. I think we are too talkative for them...lol. Son never showed for dinner, but did show to show us he had won $100 at his first try in the casino. After dinner Hubby had actupunture for his back...he says it feels soooo much better!! I headed to the casino where I remained till 11. I have a few extra bills in my pocket than I started with, so its ok. I still have not unpacked my suitcases yet!! This is not like me..lol!!

 

I plan on getting up at 6:30 and expect to be on pool deck by 8:30.

 

I will re read emails tomorrow and answer you all after my Meet and Mingle at 11:30 and lunch.

 

It is wonderful to be on the Mariner and cruising. Nothing like it!!

Thanks, DZ for posting live on Mariner. You mentioned you had tickets for the ice show at 9 PM on Wed.- St. Thomas day, then another board said they had two shows on Thurs. at 5 and 7 PM.

 

 

Are there any ice shows on the sea days? We're going in Oct. and trying to decide on Chops night. We loved the ice show on Explorer (went twice - once with tickets and once after it started and some people had not shown).

I believe she is on the Western Caribb. route. St. Thomas is Eastern, so sea days and possibly show days/times would be different.;)

After dinner Hubby had actupunture for his back...he says it feels soooo much better!!

 

I am a true believer in Acupuncture, I go weekly for cronic back problems and it is the only thing that works. Did your husband have any other feedback? I am curious because I want to try it on Solstice.

Hey everyone. Only a few minutes to spare...I have the Meet and Mingle in 15 minutes. Just spent 2 glorious hours in the sun on deck 12. Smooth seas, strong winds, an icy Mango Tango....this is heaven on sea.

Zoe ~~~ I will hopefully see them in 10 minutes..they didn't show for our pre M and M yesterday.

Pasta~~ yes, the times for ice show are different for Western and Eastern

 

The actupunture worked so well on hubby, that daughter is going to have it done today. hubby's back is still pretty good..he may go for another session.

 

After my M and M, I am having lunch and then will post food stuff. At 3 I am taking salsa lessons. We had an appt to book Freedom at 2, but hubby decided to get massage at 2, so we will change it to maybe tommorrow. Ok, I am running late..sorry for any misspelled..have to run.

Hey all!!

I can't believe it..I NAPPED!!

Well after only 5 hours sleep last night and 2 hours in the sun, I was wipped out!

 

Had a great M amd M..though it was very small and was not conducted as "caring" as the Explorer was. I had lunch right after, and decided to go to the room for a bit to post and then to salsa lessons...but I fell asleep!!

 

While sleeping hubby booked the Freedom for July of next year...that is done. When I woke, we discussed that we didn't love tonight's formal night menu, so he went to Chops and we switched...we are eating there tonight (taking pictures of that amazing food) and will do the dining room tomorrow night.

 

Mark...I will get the nale and price from him..he went to get us coffee.

 

Tonight is a finish the lyrics game show (love that stuff) and the production show. Now that I napped, I can make it for the adult comedy show at midnight.

 

Our dining room waitress is Amalia. She is sweet, but maybe "slower" in service than others..we were the last tables to leave the dining room.

 

Last night was a strawberry, kiwi and pineapple medly (yum), vidala onion tart, hot and sour shrimp soup, chilled watermelon gazpacho, caesar salad, spinach salad.....shrimp ravioli, linguini, atlantic cod, pork medallions, chicken breast (not the best), prime rib, top sirlion, aloo gobi melki.

 

 

Off to the casino before dinner...

Hello Mariner

Denise you sound like a real bundle of energy, keep the great reports coming.

 

We will be going on Freedom in Nov, our first cruise, so all your comments

are of interest to us.

 

I know its a long shot but our good friend Phil Waters and his 14yr son Tom

from the UK are with you on Mariner on their first ever cruise.

 

If you or your party run into them could you say hello from Colette &

Roger it will freak him out!!!! lol
