Hi I was wondering where are meeting in Fort Lauderdale? I am looking for a place to meet our group there but I have no idea where.

 

We are all staying at the Best Western Ft. Lauderdale Airport and Cruise port hotel. We are going to meet there at 5:30 pm and then walk to Lesters Diner for Dinner. It will be quite a site with 45 or so of us walking down the street.

I am getting married on 6/21/10 Carnival Ecstasy. The Deluxe package (wedding with 1.5 hour reception) 26 guests (not cruising with us just boarding to see the wedding)

 

I would love to also hear if anyone has advice or past do's & don'ts, as well as any small reviews of getting married on the ship.

 

I have read lots of good....but more bad. And thanks to reading all the bad reviews, I will be prepared for those kind of issues...but I will keep my fingers crossed! Hopefully being more prepared...will help things go more smoothly.

 

I have gotten some good pointers like - don't let the photographer bully you into taking pictures around the ship during the reception. Enjoy the reception then take pictures...Also tell your family to take lots of pictures.

 

So any ideas?
