"Formal Attire" Definition Needed.... Badly

Actually, LOL, take a look at E online and the most recent pics of Beyonce. You'll see that 'linebacker' look is once again back in, though not necessarily a good look. Balenciaga et al and Louis Vuitton have been trying to make shoulder pads have a comeback as of late. Still, I maintain, if you wore it the first time around...;)

That means the "Mullet" can't be far behind.

While we're on formal wear, in the female catagory: Are shoulder pads in or out?

 

I just bought two Alex Evening sparkle jackets with a camisole and they have pads. I asked the clerk about this and she said they are back in style. I am not sure about that, but I left them in for now. I probably will cut them out, although they aren't that big (not like the huge shoulder pads of the 80's), when I go to wear them.
