karmac Posted June 13, 2009 #101 Share Posted June 13, 2009 This is one of my favourite cruise pics. The only way to get a shot like this is from a cruise ship which just makes me want to get onboard again. Beautiful pic!!

Gold Coast Cruisers Posted June 14, 2009 #106 Share Posted June 14, 2009 Here is the beautiful Isle of Pines in the South Pacific for those who don't know where it is. It is very tranquil, great for snorkling with an amazing lagoon. Sorry but did try to make this bigger, which it was until I hit the 'submit' button and this is what popped up.....:9)

Gold Coast Cruisers Posted June 14, 2009 #121 Share Posted June 14, 2009 WOW!!! Nice view from your balcony:D Yes we had a huge balcony on Rhapsody of the Seas.:D You can see the jetty where the tender docks, then following left you walk over to the lagoon to snorkel. Can you see that in the picture now. Jillybean:)

Kiwi Kruzer Posted June 14, 2009 #123 Share Posted June 14, 2009 When we first called there you had to be careful that you did not fall through the holes in the old wooden jetty. Looks like they have a new one now?
Gold Coast Cruisers Posted June 14, 2009 #124 Share Posted June 14, 2009 When we first called there you had to be careful that you did not fall through the holes in the old wooden jetty. Looks like they have a new one now? I remember that old jetty, we've been to Isle de Pines many times over the years too. This picture was taken in December 2008. One thing that has changed is the price of a beer at the bar at the end of the lagoon... now around A$14.00 a can... Needless to say we waited and enjoyed one on our return to the ship.
