You went through the hassle to get Global Entry but don’t have a passport? Guess I don’t see the point since you have to have a passport to fly internationally. I haven’t seen a global entry kiosk at a cruise terminal. Guess it’s really not needed with all the upgrades since you even have to stop and talk with anyone. We have passports and use global entry with Clear. Helps a lot at the airports

Some sailings have a lower price on the Deluxe package right now. I just called (high volume/wait) so I could rebooked at $4 lower a day than it’s been in months.

I know what I’ve personally experienced and also know what my polices will provide so I’m not here to argue. All I have to say is good luck if anyone that has issues and needs to fly home without a passport.

I just don’t understand how people and spend thousands of dollars on a trip but won’t protect themselves for a couple hundred dollars. I didn’t even give my parents or adult child an option of not getting a passport when they decided to go on their first cruise with us. BTW, if you purchased insurance and don’t have a passport they aren’t going to try to get you home in case of an emergency…

Maybe one of these days they will open it up to be more friendly. I use my Platinum to purchase all our cruises but I’m just not willing to give up control on my bookings for a little OBC

Make tipping mandatory and built in on the invoice so it can’t be removed. If you can’t afford to tip then you can’t afford to go on vacation

Cruise vacations are changing and no longer going to be considered a bargain vacation like it’s been the last 20 years. Some cruise lines may continue to keep prices lower but Royal executives have already confirmed plans to close the price gap between cruises and land resorts. It’s still not even close when you price a week at a Beaches or Sandal’s resort so I expect prices to continue to increase slowly. Personally I’m ok with price increases as it should help take care of some of the issues I’ve experienced over the last few years on Royal ships.

I would rather pay for things I want to do vs. just increasing the cruise fare to include everything for “free”. Royal executives have recently states the plan is to continue closing the price gap between cruises and land resorts. Cruise vacations are changing and it’s just going to get more expensive.

There is a dress code in the MDR and many of the specialty restaurants. People just think it doesn’t apply to them. Sounds like you fit in that group.

I wouldn't consider having to wear pants and a normal shirt in the MDR dressing up. If you have to wear decent clothes (pants) to a nice restaurant on land then people should also be forced to do it on a ship….

Bookings finally are open and looks to be the rumored amount of $200. 2-3 hours and formal attire only. I think we plan to try it in June. I can’t wait for the “it’s my vacation and I ll wear what I want” crowd to complain. 😂

It’s double and triple that price now for most ships

We are thinking about making a jump over from Royal for a Greek Isles similar Western Mediterranean since Royal doesn’t have many longer (9-12 days) for 2025. When will Celebrity release 2025 itineraries and any recommendations?

We personally think it’s worth it when more than one ship is in port but prices are getting high. We booked it for $148 next March on Oasis. it’s still almost $300 a person for Icon next summer so we will do something else

That’s exactly what I did and the original question. I would drop the refreshment package completely and maybe get her the soda package instead since she drinks a couple sodas a day.

Well I explained to the customer service rep how she will use the drink vouchers for alcohol and they said that was not an issue. Cheating the system would be if I was sharing my package…

I called Royal a few months ago and booked the deluxe drink package for myself and the refreshment package for my girlfriend since you can’t do that online. Last night while online, I canceled her refreshment package and rebooked at the lower price with no issues. My deluxe package was on the same order number but was not canceled/changed. My question is what would happen if i simply didn’t rebook her refreshment package or canceled it in the future? Would Royal eventually cancel my deluxe or charge more since we are two adults in one cabin? Since I know this will come up…. We do not share drinks. I drink a lot more and the deluxe makes sense for me. She might drink 4-5 cocktails a day plus a few waters. She will use our 10 per day vouchers so the only reason we got her the refreshment package is because I thought we had to….

We are waiting also. We cruise a lot but this will be our first time to Europe Any recommendations for first timers? I’m leaning towards a 8-9 night Greek Isles

There isn’t anything you can do. Some times you receive them and sometimes you don’t. I’ve had the last 3 offers but not this one

Not on this class of ship. One of the worst cabins on the lower decks

We once received a JR suite aft cabin as a Royal Up on Adventure of the Seas. I called immediately and was able to get our original midship cabin back. Unless there is a very large price difference GTY isn’t worth it

I’ve had it happen in little as one day and up to 30 days. I think up to 30 days is the policy

I hate you are going through this! Did you buy insurance? If so I probably would cancel the entire trip and get my money back. Like others have stated you were given bad information and it won’t matter it you have it in writing or not. Your husband will not be allowed to get on the ship in Florida. Also, if he’s positive there is a very good chance you will also be soon and will have to quarantine on the ship (unless you had it first and gave it to him?). Not a fun vacation! You mentioned your daughter’s friend now going. Did that friend replace your husband’s name or an additional passenger?

The best one is you young man from Texas that posted a picture of his wife about how she received the “side eye” all week and everyone should be jealous that Michael Bayley personally invited them to next years cruise. 🙄
