No one should ever expect to have a cruise ship make a stop in Venice. I would not want to fly to that region and not see Venice, no offense Croatia.

Not married to any cruise line, the idea of it being cheating to sail with anyone but NCL makes no sense to me. Sapphire, but not a stock holder. I would be cheating myself to not try other cruise lines, once and done on Princess and Carnival, diamond on Royal and gonna try Celebrity in 2025.

I was satisfied with the food on Liberty and Explorer last year. Since I am on a heart healthy diet, no meat, no eggs, and no dairy products, eating is more like a chore than a pleasure, but it makes picking which food easier every meal. I was not disappointed, just bored.

Norwegian recently proclaimed that they will not longer be exchangijg any currency on the ships. Actually it is for our convenience, for any exchange rates were better. Would not be surprised if Royal made a similar change.

If you are ever in Vigan in the Philippines, the best rates to get pesos are at the Two Brothers department store( known locally as 2B). They are better rates than the banks, no service charges or acounts required. 2b or not 2b should never be the question.

Laguna Larry at the Sky sushi bar acrually suggested if we wanted desert we should go to the buffet. Also, since we had one meal for myself and one more my wife, he suggested we each make two choices and call it my meal and then next time use her 4 choices for another meal. 20 pieces of sushi was a fine meal for me.

Guess I should be glad that the Grandeur Tampa to Boston cruise this August/September was cancelled. Although it sounds like the ship will be all fixed by then. We were gonna do consecutive cruises, Western Caribbean, then change ships to sail to Boston. We are not gonna fly to Tampa to do 7 days Western Caribbean on another old ship then return to PA in August, so gonna cancel soon.

My number came up in the lottery when I completed college, but I went from 2S to 4F without a physical. I was not moral enough to burn villages and kill women and children because I smoked pot. Got busted with an oz in 1970, was a felony in PA, could have done 5 years, got off with 3 years probation plus a $500 fine plus court costs. Had a degree to teach, could not. Could not become a CPA. When people speak of medical marijuana, I usually comment that smoking weed in 1970 might have saved my life. My dad was disgusted with me. He had fought with the 25th division in 1945, he was a supply guy saw the recapture of Manila as 100,000 civilians died, mostly at the hands of the Japanese. He could not see the humor in Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant. Said his dad was OK.

Found better vegan choices on Royal Caribbean. Every dinner the menu had at least one vegan appetizer, main course and desert.

It is when you sell the cruise for two years, do not change the itinerary until after final payment, what did they discover about the environment since final payment that they did not know previously? If you believe that, I have some beach front property in Arizona you might be interested in.
