  1. The availability of items in both the planner and gift&gear section may vary over time but should get better closer to sailing.
  2. No, it should be a refund to the credit card used to pay. Also, some TA sites might be easier to use than RCI's for quick price checks.
  3. Yes, though availability varies ship to ship - you'd have to look up in the gift&gear section.
  4. Yes, there are folks who don't own a computer/smartphone and they get on the sailing just fine.
  5. You will have to go back to your watchlist and remember what the price was previously. This assumes you are doing this on the same device. If not logged in and you look at the watchlist on another device, it will be blank. Using a site like cruiseplum, which has about a year of price tracking history, might be a better choice.
  6. You should be able to see them in the app, even if not on board.
  7. Yes. Whether you will enjoy it is another matter.
  8. Yes (the app will list the drinks), but usually you don't need to go that detailed - as long you drank on average at least 5 alcoholic drinks per day, you are likely ahead, financially.
  9. Most of the time they are talking about a single category (since you can move within a category at no charge). It's actually fairly rare for an entire sailing to be sold out till close to sailing. RCI likes playing games where they'll pull an entire sailing for "inventory management" (and people think it's sold out) but then the sailing comes right back.
  10. The OP may have gotten the OBC by cashing in points from an RCI affiliated credit card.
  11. Like in Haiti, what happens in the capital (very far removed from the cruise port) is very unlikely to affect cruising.
  12. Recently, "last minute deals" means booking at least a month out - very few cabins left and few deals inside of that.
  13. The latter. The passport just has to be valid upon your return for your sailing.
  14. She has not moved since she came back from the first trial.
  15. Have some patience till RCI reveals the official sailings for 2025 (and then hope they stay that way).
  16. You can, but as mentioned, since they fluctuate, you'll have to pick some average number to do your comparison.
  17. All show durations (approx.) should be listed in the app - look at the most current sailing.
  18. All of the perks will be in a letter in your cabin when you arrive. You should get an email about a week out from the concierge.
  19. Welcome to CC. The recommendation is to confirm the pics before you ever leave the ship. Good luck.
