    I was talking in the context of paying extra/higher than usual fare for those features. Also, depending on the ship/location/itinerary you could have more half the ship being newbies to RCI.

    Without info from RCI (they would usually trumpet any meaningful changes) assume only routine maintenance for the dry dock. Folks on CC may consider paying extra for an AMPed ship because of some feature/venue added or the expectation of cabins being refurbished - the much larger general public doesn't know (or care) or have that info and cruise fares are based on that.

    If available and the timing allows, you may also consider testing in the UK before flying over.

    Assuming the OP paid the usual 200% solo supplement, there should be no increase in the fare when adding the second person.

    Probably - sounds like you are mixing up booking types between GTY and non-GTY. A bit more detail on what you are trying to do may elicit more feedback.

    Cruise prices don't change much with AMPing (other than expectations of such by some around here).

    No, the denial email doesn't come till the day of the sailing and the bid status could be just about anything between now and then.

    The basic math hasn't changed much - generally, if you know for sure you'll have at least 5 alcoholic drinks per day every day, get the package in the planner.

    Once you make the booking NRD, those rules kick in - meaning, $100pp change fee to move to another booking or an FCC with a one year expiration (all of these of course before final payment).

    Fixed. Pretty sure Anthem was listed as orange with the CDC then which means they had at least .3% COVID cases on board (crew and customers).

    The itineraries have not really changed - you are either remembering things differently or looking at different type of itineraries.
