  1. Those are rare now. You can book solo cabins online though the pricing may not be much better than booking a "regular" cabin.
  2. All ships were transitioned to Starlink which improved speed and latency. Coverage in cabins should be better on Allure vs. Grandeur though that may depend on your specific cabin.
  3. Yes, there's brand new terminal that RCI uses.
  4. There should have been a comma after "switch" and I think they meant 20+ years ago before the switch to auto-grats and inclusion of downstream staff in that pool of money. Biker, who assumes that kind of sloppy grammar really grates @Merion_Mom
  5. Planner items, including MTD bookings, that far out not being available yet is not that unusual.
  6. Trying to figure out the "why/what" of anything RCI just leads to frustration.
  7. The number of cabins is almost exactly the same on Oasis and Icon and if one assumes the first two in every cabin is an adult, there are about the same number of adults on both.
  8. It was kinda rare to have in the first place - not much to drop.
  9. Discussion in the 2025-2026 deployment thread.
  10. Given the much high number of 3 and 4 berth cabins on Icon vs Oasis, it is assumed most of those will be for families with kids.
  11. You are comparing to low post COVID restart prices.
  12. As mentioned above, look for a TA which ends in Galveston.
  13. All schedules are discussed in the 2025-2026 deployment thread. That thread also has links to all kinds of info, including that schedule.
  14. You don’t need to complete check in online - you can do it at the pier.
  15. Other sites are likely TA affiliated sites which can’t be mentioned on CC.
  16. Welcome to CC and coming out of lurk mode. The cabin steward can get you an extension for the machine. I don't recall an outlet there though the desk phone may have a USB port with which you could charge your cell phone.
  17. No. The photo package will include the pics in which the buyer is in. So, as long as you (the buyer) is in the pic (along with anyone else) you'll get that pic.
  18. American Cruise Lines does both river and coastal cruises on very small ships (compared to RCI fleet). They are within the US so no passport needed. Not sure you would like the pricing.
