  1. Here’s an article may help you. https://www.cruisehive.com/carnival-cruise-passengers-can-enjoy-a-new-benefit-while-dining/106243
  2. This is good news. Lots of times on my last cruise I was looking for cookies after 10 pm. They weren’t out but a crew member always offered to get some. I hate to ask someone who’s cleaning to stop and get cookies.
  3. For the MDR: Pasta as you like. Select pasta, sauce and protein. There would be numerous combinations with just a select few ingredients.
  4. We are booked in Ultra Concierge for November 2023 on the Constellation. We are expecting the Concierge Lucheon. We are 2 couples together in the Ultra Concierge. I’ll let you know after the cruise if we had the luncheon.
  5. NCL is changing their menus. They will have one set menu which is pretty extensive. The one thing I liked and would love to see on Carnival is a Make your own Pasta section. You select your pasta, sauce, seafood or meat. There were a ton of combinations. That’s available every night.
  6. I did book through travel agent. That is probably the issues. Thanks for the replies.
  7. I just received the email about gratuities going up. The email explained how to prepay the gratuities. I could not find it on my reservation following their instructions. I checked everywhere and I could not find the gratuities. I have onboard credit that I figured that I might as well use to prepay. This is definitely most aggravating.
  8. Nybumpkin. Were the thrusters noisy or did they cause vibrations?
  9. When we go to Mahogany Bay we always stay at the port. The beach is nice especially if only one ship in port. You can walk to the beach. It is scenic and tropical and shaded. There are benches along the path. There is shade at the beach which we prefer. There are lots of chaise lounges. There is a restaurant and bar with servers who come around or you can go sit there to eat and drink. The prices were reasonable. The food platters were large. We always split one. They had music.
  10. Funny. That is why my husband did not go on the two Royal ships from Tampa. We stick to Carnival spirit class and Celebrity Constellation. There are more elevators. 9 out of 10 we are the only passengers on the elevator.
  11. Try the Spirit class out of Tampa. All of our Carnival cruises on the various Spirit class ships sailing from Tampa were all older people. Last year we did the Easter week cruise there were more families but still a lot older passengers. It’s not crowded. It’s not noisy or rowdy. There are 3 pools including the adult only Serenity pool. There’s music by main pool but no craziness. I’m in my sixties and there are people older than me. We love Frankie Portera the cruise director. He’s not annoying. Every time we go it’s hard to believe it’s a Carnival cruise. We have been going 1 to 2 times each year.
  12. My zero proof was only 10% off so that wasn’t worth it either.
  13. What about the drink packages? My son went on Royal and the drink package was accepted at the private islands. Is Celebrity doing the same?
  14. Thanks for sharing. It was on my cruise. My husband doesn’t drink at all. I may get 2 drinks per day so it is still not worth it for us. I do love a sale!
  15. Hit or miss on the food is a topic on every single cruise line on cruise critic.
  16. My Thanksgiving Connie cruise only shows dessert on the app. When is the new menu scheduled to be on all of the ships?
  17. For people questioning capacity at Coco Cay https://cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/2023/02/royal-caribbean-expanding-cococay-for-13000-guests-daily/#:~:text=Royal Caribbean Expanding CocoCay For,Cruise Industry News | Cruise News
  18. Did you have to pay for the Covid testing? Did you have to pay for visit at the medical center?
  19. This is the first one thatI found after the dry dock. It is short and fast.
  20. The dessert choices are very limited. Basically one regular dessert and one sugar free dessert plus the chocolate melting cake. I love ice cream but I don’t really consider that as a dessert. We have never gone to a restaurant and ordered ice cream for dessert.
  21. I see the awarded points but they have not be added to my total points.
  22. I boarded a cruise where a couple brought all of their meals. The meals were all kosher. They met with maitre d. He handled everything for them.
  23. This is about your ship. https://www.cruisehive.com/new-port-tech-to-speed-up-carnival-cruise-debarkation/103600
