Given that this is a new line, those perks will most likely dwindle down, but who knows, Virgin might be different!

It depends on the fare, because the OBC offer could apply only to the 1st and 2nd guest

Missed embarkation pick up ship?
DisneyDatknee replied to Cruisegirl6's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
You should be able to, but I would plan on booking a refundable ticket to Aruba just in case so you don't pay $$$ to fly last minute. However, missing 3 days of a cruise would stink.. -
How has the service been with the "Elon Musk" wifi? I'm just debating between getting a higher package if it actually works.

Interior upper/lower with porthole
DisneyDatknee replied to Susan in Maine's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Best value on the ship. You do get a lot of noise when docking, but having natural light in the room is great. I will be in one on the Venezia in a couple of weeks! -
Yes, I saw them in Java Blue Cafe on the Sunrise last year and it was included in Cheers.

It's hard to find deals anymore unless it's Alaska or some obscure destination.

I just checked my cruise planner for my Venezia cruise next month and Coke Zero, Sprite Zero, Barq's, Seagram's Ginger Ale & Tonic Water, Diet Coke, and Fanta Orange are all options in additional to the Pepsi products. I hope this means they are making the switch. The other Carnival family lines all have coke products!

Not a problem at all. Your cabin may have extra beds, ask the steward to make them up that night and maybe offer him a little tip for the trouble 🙂

Added gratuities to Bonsai Teppanyaki

Just another way they can increase prices without people noticing. Should be a flat rate if it's mandatory. -

Great decision! Completely worth it if you take advantage of the amenities. -
Mardi Gras Upgrade email.... WWYD?

Unless you were already planning on buying the spa pass, I would stay in your room. The Spa cabins only hold 2, so any cabin in the immediate area would not have kids, but everywhere else on Deck 5 is fair game. They could walk by your cabin on the way to the FWD elevators. I typically stay on lower floors just so I don't feel the ship as much at the top. -
There is no "Carnival" parking. There will be signs that say which garage/lot to park in. I don't recall there being a ton of handicap spots like at Ex: Disney World. There are several garages/lots. Most of the time, the ship is not across from the parking, so I would advise dropping off passengers who cannot walk far and luggage first before parking. There is a shuttle to the garage/lot if it's not across the street. I would only recommend parking at the pier, there are really no good off-port options in Miami.

Why No ice buckets on Carnival Venezia
DisneyDatknee replied to phoneman69's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I'm sure ice buckets are new to the Venezia. There would be no use for an ice bucket in its previous Italian Market 🤣. -
Whenever my friend and I ordered drinks, we would give them one of our medallions and switch every time we ordered a drink. However, the majority of the time they would ask for the cabin number and we automatically charged them to me. I guess because I am the male. If we were sitting at a bar together, the bartender would just alternate between us. I would prefer if they would charge each drink by person, but I'm assuming on Princess they are not typically catering to the clientele that reaches 15 a day, but we did several days of the trip. 🤣

The cruise has been unavailable for the past several weeks and we are sailing in 12 days. Not sure if it’s sold out due to staffing issues. Thank you for the advice.

So there's not many dining times available pre-cruise. I'm only seeing late dining times past 8:30 in Allegro/Concerto. Do I really need reservations before the cruise, or can I just make reservations same-day as I go? The cruise is sold out.. This is my first time on a medallion class ship.
