    You know, Princess also makes money on those who spend in other ways- not only drinks, desserts. For example: casino, art auctions, jewelry shops, excursions, photography & electronics they sell. The upscale is nice to see in the new Sun Princess with several inviting dining options. Quality matters to some of us. princess is marketing to standard fare, older folks like me.

    I have canceled in the app but, caution- must watch that they refund correct amount. you can go to Guest Services on board and sort it out.

    Oh lord, Princess if you are listening- I have cruised for 45 years. Tried the Plus packages twice. Never again. I pay standard fare and book BW to Pent House suites. Take startedwithamouse’s advice and I will be gone!

    Also look at what is posted to your credit card now.

    When I book Specialty dining on app- no package, the only place I see charges are on my credit card. I never see it on my travel summary, so if I cancel the reservation it disappears from the app and I hope for a refund. Is there anywhere else others are seeing their proof of payment- a receipt from Princess?

    I also do this occasionally when I need to top up my aeroplan miles, as I rarely have to pay for a flight. Always purchase refundable fares/ buy cancel for any reason insurance.

    I would just report it to GS & cabin steward. Not everyone will respond as OP’s neighbours have.

    Thanks for taking the time to share. I will probably skip this if invited , as I have a Suite on the Sun with use of the Signature Sun Deck and prefer to choose my time to go over to the terminal.

    I will be on the Regal and the pass is only sold for the full week , online. It is separate from Spa services.

    I order today-$15 US. I went to green lane as soon as I put in credit card. Has not shown up on my Amex yet. shipping to Canada- we will see.

    I received my refund for Sabatinis- $34.16 US pp. cancelled mid October. booked Aug for $35 US pp.

    I received my refund for Crown Grill today $43 US pp. I booked it in August at $39 US pp.

    It is likely too early. My cruise is Oct 14/24 and I cannot book SD yet.

    Thought I’d never do it, but I did. Paid $15 US to have 4 items delivered to my home in Canada before my Regal cruise out of Galveston. Let’s see if I get it- I frequently get the neighbour’s mail.

    It would be nice to see the entire wording- it is cut off on my screen. i have Standard- so this extra charge will apply to SD. Those with packages may not have to pay this, or does that only include the 2 dinners in their package? Still confusing.

    Regal out of Galveston, only for now. Haven’t heard of an upcharge for MDR yet.

    Not sure. I gave up on that Canary Island cruise.

    It is now being served on Regal and the poster on fb said it was excellent in the Crown Grill.

    I have Standard fare. I see a lot of posts since you posted telling me I was wrong. No problem in my case I cancelled my 2 pre paid Crown Grill reservations and they have already issued the refund. Crown Grill is $39 pp & Sabatinis is $35 pp.
