Time to book more cruises and lock in the price before it goes up.

Panorama offers the best deal on Mexican Riveria cruise. None of the other cruise line prices come even close.

PV public bus is very easy to use and costs only US$1 each way for two passengers. Be sure to avoid the rush hour crowd as the bus would be packed like a sardine can. One thing I find amusing is that sometimes there would be street entertainers on board to perform for tips. Some are good, others not so good but none is pushy if you don't want to tip after a performance.

I believe you are correct. I sailed on 4 different cruise lines including Princess since March. They all had over 100 songs in the karaoke song books. But the song selections vary and likely at the discretion of the person in charge. On this particular cruise, the karaoke DJ was from Mexico and 1/4 of the featured songs were either in Spanish or Mexican hits. The list even included a Santana instrumental hit Samba Pa Ti which is a all guitar solo song with no singing. Go figure. Since October, I notice karaoke DJs have all stopped wiping down the mic after each use. This to me is a poor decision given all the singers are holding the mic 2 inches from their lips and spraying droplets all over the mic while singing into it, then pass the device to the next person to repeat the same process. That's when I stopped going to karaoke nights. Just not worth the risk of catching Covid or flu bugs from an unsanitized shared mic.

An online big box TA sometimes has refundable group rate on some sailings but not all.

Does anyone know what kind of upgrade will be done to the ship during dry dock? This may be a blessing in disguise.

Call MSC and have them manually added the discount to your cruise.

Do not miss the show Celestial Strings featuring these 3 musicians and playlist singers. By far the best show of the cruise. Seating will fill up fast so do go half an hour early to get the best seat.

Port excusion and shopping seminars may be boring but they do give out some decent free excusion prizes if you stay till the end.

The playlist production singers are very good on Panorama. They sing well and put on a good show.

To avoid line up, do this on port day. The ropes course was quite scary especially the rope bridge. But I made it.

On my Mex cruise last month, HOHO dropped the price from $39 to $25 at the pier. Guess the tour was not selling well.

Gun trucks and fully armed soldiers patrolling around Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. I felt like a well guarded VIP on a state visit. Can't ask for better protection.

It takes experience and practices to read a situation correctly. You can't expect this from many newly hired staff from a different culture who are practically learning their jobs on the fly. Give them time. They will get a hang of it eventually.

How about a new Carnival policy of Minding Your Own Business unless you are directly involved.

I doubt any of the staff wants to ask you questions or interrupt your meals if it is up to them. Why would they? They have enough to do as is. Most likely they are told to do it by higher up as part of their job.
