    I would not risk this. they will not hold the ship, unless it a large number of passengers that are delayed. Celebrity will try to get you to the ship at a future port. maybe they will be successful, maybe not. Is it worth the stress?

    If you have to pick a US airport, I agree that ATL is the best choice because EWR and JFK are most likely to have ATC delays. Weather could affect any of them, but ATL recovers the quickest from delays.

    all the European airlines/airports you listed are fine. I would feel comfortable with a 2 hour connection in FRA (3 hours if you need wheelchair assistance) I have transited CPH, IST, ZRH, YUL, and YYZ and you should have no issue with any of them.

    I presume the (10 year Brazil) tourist visas issued in 2017 would still be valid ?

    Frankly if you are asking for pairing suggestions, I would ask to speak to the head sommelier. If you know what you want, then any of the others would be fine.

    Frankly, there are no great hotels in Anchorage. The Captain Cook, Marriott, and Hilton are all just fair. Service issues and condition are the biggest problems. There is a Embassy Suites (600 E. Benson) that is decent, but it is not downtown.

    Suites (including of course the Edge Villa) can dine in Blu on a space-available basis.

    of course it would be extra work for your TA, but that is what they get paid for (commission) You would benefit as well due to incentives or OBC.

    I don’t wear the bathrobes at all but I disagree with your opinion. If it’s ok to wear a swimsuit from your room to the pool or spa, why is it inappropriate to wear a swimsuit covered by a robe?

    My introduction to cruising was almost 35 years ago with my brother, parents, and grandparents. It was a wonderful trip on a Princess trans Panama Canal and introduced me to the joy of cruising. Cruising with family makes it even more special.

    I have used this TA many many times and this is not uncommon for them. Expect the charge the day final payment is due, or perhaps the day prior. Not a big deal and nothing to be concerned about.

    Do yourself a favor (and save a LOT of money) and do NOT buy a private tour thru Celebrity. Either join an existing small group (check the roll call) or ask in the Ports section for recommendations.

    I would not recommend the cruise transfer. definitely take a taxi or uber instead.

    good lord, the crew is not your grandkids. Yes, it may be a thoughtful gesture (in YOUR mind) but frankly it is demeaning and belittling. Give them cash and a good review - that is what the crew wants. Also, referring to a crew member as the "washy washy girl" says a lot, and not in a good way.

    Yes, the "service charge" is the gratuities. Tipping on this ship beyond the (pre-paid) gratuities is also not required and not expected. You are of course free to give a little extra if you so desire.

    Friends don't let friends take the Hoppa. Uber to hotel, or head to Southampton upon arrival.
