  1. Agree. It is awful. And only four barstools. Miss the old Michael’s Club on S-Class.
  2. At least they have a bowl brush. On first thought I could have done without that photo. On second thought this is blow by blow hard core cruise porn we are looking at. Uncensored.
  3. This was a 7-night cruise right? Just double checking.😂😂😂
  4. I refuse to stand at this part of the rail. Phobia that it will open while I’m leaning on it. Looks like you were immursed in local St Thomas flavor and hospitality. Helipad eyewear and footwear on point. Cheers!
  5. Great time to hit up the solarium too. Sadly, no bar service.😂
  6. Yeah avoid the theater and the martini bar and the restaurants this time of night and you don’t have to people.😂
  7. Set myself up for that one. And a fraction of capacity. Wish I was there. Although if I was on board I may not have discovered my new found cruise porn channel. Addicted and not seeking a recovery program. We love the quieter Cellar Masters on this class of ships. Sometimes I don’t want to people.
  8. I love watching for who they are waiting for before they pull up the ramp. How was the elusive prime rib? I like beets.😀 But I like margaritas more.
  9. By LIVE I had no idea you meant that in the literal sense. This is hardcore blow by blow minute by minute cruise porn right here right now. And I'm likin' it. And you are not even on board yet. Hope I can keep up with you for 8+ more days.
  10. Hey there. You can't get an A2 for the price of C1. I believe C2 to C1 is valid, so make sure you get the C2 price if you stick with the C1 choice. There is a chart that details the one-category upgrade program, but I am not sure if it is on Celebrity's website or if it was posted on here. Somebody on here should come up with it for you. Not usually a huge price difference, but something you as a Captain's Club member are entitled to, nonetheless. So excited for you and your plans to visit your 50th state.
  11. The best was on a recent Celebrity sailing when I witnessed a rather robust gentleman strolling into and perusing the Oceanview Cafe without his shirt on. And of course, he was eating off his plate while he perused. You just can't make this stuff up.
  12. Postcard from Florida: Dear @GenerationX, Hello from the Sunshine (???) State!! Not necessarily enjoying the neighborhood sites while dodging a few raindrops. Lots of new art installations around town since I last visited including randomly placed automobiles and airplanes completely surrounded by water. Been touring them via kayak. I don’t wish you were here. xxxooo PS Not sure what your post cruise plans are, but you best confirm everything is still a go.
  13. My vote would be for the Sunset Verandah. I know not one of the choices. Hee hee. We were on deck 7 on Connie last year and loved the deeper, larger, partially shaded sunset verandah. We probably spend way less time on our verandah than some, but I am a sucker for that wake view and sound. Enjoyed the verandah more on sea days. 8046 will be cool being able to look forward and back. Larger verandah is a plus. I overthink these things too. Now where is that trip report?? I have been waiting for the blow by blow on your adventures as well as the photo journal on Slim’s cruise wardrobe.😀
  14. Wishing you safe and timely travels to your ship. Another Live nail-biter, but I am safe and comfy on my sofa on the dry coast of FL living vicariously through you. This would be the first I have followed one of your reports. I love this class of Celebrity ships. Curious how empty yours will be considering this odd repositioning and the current FLL air travel mania. Cheers!
  15. I am thoroughly enjoying your report especially all of your great early morning shots of the beautiful spaces around the ship.
  16. Thank you for posting these links. We were on this same sailing, so I will definitely read through your review. I guess we liked it. We did almost the same cruise same ship three years later and had an equally enjoyable time. I love my ABC's. I never really gave it much thought, but maybe Equinox would be up there on my list of favorite ships.
