  1. Go to cruisedeckplans.com. and choose public site, then Celebrity Infinity and you will see the deck plans. Here's the link: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Celebrity-Infinity. It has a drag and drop feature that allows you to drag and drop one deck onto another to see what will be above or below your desired cabin. It's a great site for choosing a cabin location with lots of valuable info, picture and videos. We never choose a cabin without using it.
  2. Yes, they are both on the slant. 9296 will have a bigger balcony than 9243 but both will be bigger than a normal balcony. Here's a link to cruisedeckplans.com that will show the info. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Celebrity-Reflection. After clicking the link choose deck 9. If you hover over the green stars you'll see the info. Those are both aft facing off the hump and will be more protected from wind.
  3. We love the balconies mid ship on the slant just off the hump. Those are larger balconies and if motion sickness is concerning to him those might be a better option than a SV. Also the higher the deck the more motion might be felt.
  4. Here come those on this thread that will say we should watch in order to learn🤪
  5. We bought a nice Canon SX70 HS onboard Reflection a few years back with our OBC (about $550 as I recall). It's a nice DSLR camera. I'd recommend you go to the shop the first day aboard because they only have very few of the "higher-end" cameras on each sailing.
  6. You'll get 2 fewer captains club points per night and won't get the daily canapes or bottle of wine, plush bathrobes, expanded room service menu or Grohe showerhead. You will get lots more space in your room and more balcony area. The determination of what those things are worth can only be assessed by the two of you.
  7. On the Celebrity website about two weeks ago both ports you mentioned were listed as required to either take a ship's tour or a government sanctioned tour. I looked again this morning and the restrictions were no where to be found.
  8. We go immediately upon boarding to any specialty restaurant and make our reservations for the package for the restaurants and times we want. You no longer are required to dine the first night with the package and they don't make reservations for you for any of the nights/restaurants before boarding.
  9. However it has taken a while for them to validate vaccination uploads pre boarding.
  10. We also love Murano, however OP mentioned that they are sailing on Infinity, which is an M-class ship. They removed the Ocean Liners restaurants from all of the M-class ships that had the same menu as Murano. Those ships only have Tuscan Grill, Le Petite Chef and Sushi on 5 so on those ships we'd choose Aqua Class to dine in Blu as long as the cost differential between verandah and Aqua wasn't ridiculous.
  11. Generally there are 2 shows 7 and 9 PM and that allows diners to eat either before or after the show they choose to attend.
  12. The outlet is in the ceiling above the sink. It is okay for the water pik but the cord on the water pik isn't long enough to reach. We had to use the portable one that we also had and don't like as much. We charged our sonicare toothbrush but had to put it on the highest shelf in the bathroom to reach and leave the cabinet door open. Luckily the toothbrush holds its charge for quite a while so we didn't have to do it often.
  13. If you want a drink that is above the Classic you will be charged the difference + 18% of the difference. We never upgrade because we don't drink enough drinks daily to warrant the daily upgrade cost. You can easily just use your package for several days to see how you fare and upgrade if you feel that it's worth it to you for the remaining days.
  14. The four balcony cabins on the S-class ships on the slant off the hump (forward and aft) are much larger than than regular balconies. Here is a photo of the largest (1st) of those balconies. Sorry it's so dark but I think you can see the size.
  15. I use the site whenever I'm choosing a cabin. It also has a feature that allows you to drag and drop one deck onto another so you can see what's above/below you. It's been a very valuable resource.
  16. You can go to the free public site www.cruisedeckplans.com. It has all the major cruise lines and ships. Select Celebrity Reflection. You will see stars that indicate the concierge cabins with the largest balconies. The cabin size is the same. Generally the cabins on the slant of the hump forward and aft of the hump itself are the largest. The 1st and 3rd being the largest.
  17. From Thanksgiving on you will see more and more Christmas decorations when you awaken each morning. There aren't alot of activities or Christmas food until Christmas week. I've never seen It's A Wonderful Life on any of our cruises on X that time of year and we usually aboard some X ship during that time period. There is usually some background Christmas music playing softly in the weeks leading up to the holiday.
  18. I don't think using a third party TA is the issue. We always book that way and have bid, changed bids and won move ups. If you were using a TA who made you unable to qualify for participating in the move up program(like a large big box store) you wouldn't have been able to bid in the first place and you'd have not received the move up email,.
  19. If worst comes to worse there is always Uber or Lyft.
  20. In the upper right corner of your browser you'll see three dots one above the other. Left click on them and you'll see a drop down box appear. Depending on your browser you'll see a selection called Incognito or InPrivate or similar. Click on that and it will open a new window. In the address bar there type in celebritycruises.com just as you would normally and proceed as usual. Good luck. I hope it works for you.
  21. Did you try the website using an Incognito windpw? I always use that when trying to do anything on the X website.
