  1. For a first time cruiser, the dining package is not worth it. You're better off picking a night or two and picking a specialty restaurant as one-offs, and not with a package.
  2. I've changed clocks on Alaskan cruises and most east coast cruises that end up in Mexico
  3. First google search result: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-the-benefits-of-the-suites-program
  4. You don't have to change your clocks. Just start showing up an hour early to events and you'll be fine.
  5. We often ask for sides that come with other entrees if we don't like what's listed. Never an issue
  6. But since that just happened, it likely won't happen for 4-5 more years.
  7. Not really. Just a personal preference if you want to pay now vs. later
  8. Looks like Wonder turned around about 175 miles NNW of San Juan, so 12 hours sounds about right.
  9. If your upcoming cruise is a 5 night sailing and that ship alternates 4 and 5 night sailings, if you check the menu while that ship is on a 4-night cruise, you'll only see 4 nights of menus. Also I'm on Mariner in December. That ship currently is on night 4, which of course today is Thanksgiving, which has a special menu. The menu right now for my cruise on night 4 doesn't appear
  10. Adventure is a great ship. No need for all those bells and whistles on the newer ships
  11. Right, the menus shown when looking at your own cruise is the menu for the current cruise of that ship
  12. Menus are shown only for the current cruise. I can see the Oasis menu in my app
  13. No, OBC is an enticement or a reward (depending on who is giving it out) for booking a cruise.
  14. Not in the Viking lounge, nope. No one should ever hang out here on embarkation day, way too crowded.
  15. Yeah the Viking lounge (or whatever they call it on your particular ship) is an underrated place to wait out the time before rooms are ready
  16. You can get lobster every night if you want. Just have to pay extra.
  17. You are allowed in, but as others have said you can't get in until you have your Seapass card, unless you happen to see the concierge.
  18. Exactly. They're splitting it up with communities. If you don't want the family/kid side of it, there's plenty of space to be just an adult. Unlike other ships where it blends together.
  19. Icon will be no more family oriented than any Oasis/Anthem ship is.
