We did Alaska at end of July into beginning of august 2019. We had 60-70 degree weather. So I agree to dress in layers. We did take packable raincoats and waterproof sneaker line walking shoes. We did use them on more than once. Family at home in NE PA were laughing at our pictures we were posting because we had on sweatshirts and jackets and they were back home in shorts, tanks and flip flops because it was 100 degrees 😂

On the Mariner in Sept 2021, they knew it was our anniversary so out last night eating in MDR, they brought out a piece of cake with a candle in it and sang to us. The. The last night of cruise in Chops, they decorated a plate with chocolate and berries with a little candle that said happy anniversary and all the waiters came and said Happy Anniversary.

Yes.we have a comped cruise on Adventure on 7/1 OV cabin. Placed RoyalUp bid last week. Today was notified that our bid was accepted and we were upgraded to a spacious OV balcony cabin😄

Just keeping watching. We have the WOS in December which we only booked in April. Immediately I went to book a daybed and they all said sold out. I checked the excursions everyday. About 3 weeks after booking, while out to lunch, I remembered that I didn’t look yet that day, so pulled out the phone, checked the app and lo and behold there was 1 chill island beach bed available. So before we ordered lunch, I booked a daybed!😄

If you don’t want hibachi, but want to go to Izumi for sushi, do you still need to go to Izumi to book your reservation? Or can we book Izumi just for sushi at any other restaurant as soon as we board?

Last April, flew home from MCO with my niece who does not have TSA pre check because she is young and only flew 3 times in her life. So I stayed with her to get thru security. Took 1 hour and 45 minutes!! Needless to say, we had to run from security to the tram and from the tram to our gate to make it with 5 minutes to spare before plane door was shut. And yes, we did the whole arrive 2 hours ahead of time! However, DH decided he would go thru the TSA pre check line anyway and was through in 15 mins!

We did Oasis in May 2022 out of Cape Liberty. Had to be on by 2 pm on embarkation day. And they were already disembarking by 7:15 am and wanted everyone out of state rooms by 8 am on debarkation day.

We never needed a water package with the refreshment or deluxe beverage package. We also get the water at the bars and take them back to our room and place in fridge. By mid week we have a surplus and don’t need to worry about it for a couple days

Same thing happens on our Wonder cruise with the unlimited dining package

Depends on the port and what they have to offer for excursions

We were on anthem in March and our 28 inch hard side Samsonite suitcase did not fit under the bed. It’s the first time that it didn’t on any of our cruises.

I would do Portside BBQ. We had sooooo much food and we have decided next time we will share a big platter and just get an extra side or dessert. Food was delicious! And they had live country music when we were there. The burnt ends were and the banana dream were my favorites!

Manhattan cruise terminal is $45 a day, so $30 is still better!

We have booked the UDP for our upcoming Wonder cruise. With the UDP we can not make dining reservations until we board the ship and we know we have to go as soon as we get on to have the best chance of getting the days and times we want. So for anyone who has been on the Wonder, will we be able to get the Mason Jar brunch on day one without having a prior reservation? Thanks in advance!

Yes

They will put a letter in your cabin along with a map. The letter will state what day bed is assigned to you. Then when you are at coco cay, you will check in and they will escort you to your day bed.

Sailed Oasis in May 2022. No issues for us. I guess if you like the nit pick, you will find something that may need a little attention. My husband raves to everyone about our Oasis experience.

I second Blue Heaven, food is delicious, especially the banana bread! Have a great cruise. We hope to be on Wonder in December 🤞🏻

Nobody checked our check in time for our 3/12 cruise on Anthem. We arrived at 9:30 and out check in time was 10. We walked right in and we were on ship around 10:20. May 2022 on Oasis out of Cape Liberty, no one checked out time either.

We were on this same sailing and agree with your opinion of the food and how it didn’t feel like over 4000 passengers. We did hear from staff that there were about 1100 kids in the cruise. Again didn’t seem like that! Our cabin was on deck 12 forward near adventure academy and we never heard any kids! And our parking, embarkation and debarkation all went without any issue!
