Yes, just go to the casino cashier and get $25 in slot credit or funplay chips, or on some ships cash. This is at least while they’re still not doing tournaments. It remains to be seen if they bring back the free tournament entries or not.

Nothing is free on a cruise ship. Included is a better word. The ride doesn't have to be included obviously. Everyone has to decide if it's worth it to them.

The only reason I use a TA is they give me a gift in exchange for booking through them while the cruise itself is the same price as booking direct. Otherwise I'd just as soon book myself on carnival.com or whatever line I'm booking through.

If you buy a pitcher from Red Frog Pub, they give you a rather nice silicone straw. It's a big straw but I imagine it would work well for one of those icy cocktails like the Miami Vice or what have you.

I agree. Changing ports for no good reason (we just don’t want to hold up our end of the bargain isn’t good enough for me, sorry) is beyond the pale.

The funfetti cheesecake is their best dessert from the buffet. So if you don't like it, don't waste your time with anything else in my opinion.

I love the decor that you folks are showing thus far. I am glad Carnival seems to be moving away from the "inoffensive resort" aesthetic of the Sunshine and Vista class ships and adopting something a little more distinctive with Mardi Gras and Celebration. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the ship - particularly areas that are named and themed after ships before, such as the Rolls Royce they took off the Ecstasy etc.

Why are we all of a sudden worried about health? Carnival serves drinks with straws made out of candy for crying out loud. Live and let live.

I haven’t done the math on how many ships have been converted to digital but I wouldn’t say it’s most ships. Looks like if they actually cared about waste they would have made this a priority and converted all their ships by now.

It varies by ship but generally you go up to the podium and tell the Fun Squad member your name and the song you want. They search and if it is in the list they'll put you in the queue. The selection varies from The Carter Family to Cardi B and everything in between.

No, that's a function of Princess Medallion and not necessarily the app. Carnival would have to adopt Medallion for this to be available on the Carnival hub.

I guess if you need a gallon, sure. When my wife used a cpap we just brought on a bottle of drinking water.

you can bring water on for a cpap.

You can pretty much only get a simple drink like a Jack and Pepsi (yuck) or a mimosa made with table champagne for $10 these days.
