We are very interested in going to The Marriott. We will be a group of at least five. How do we go about buying a day pass? Do we contact the resort directly?

How do you proceed to acquire day passes? Is it something that needs to be arranged in advance?

Also stayed in this area on the Getaway and Escape and never had any noise issues.

I called NCL directly and had every thing applied.

We did the jet ski tour in May 2019 offered right by the pier and they did not weigh anyone.

I see that you made final payment, but are you still outside the 120 day window? If yes, you should call and get a price adjustment. If within the 120 window and the promotion/perks are the same, you might be entitled a FCC at 100% the difference to be used within 12 months. You are allowed to do that only once.

Thank you. If it was not for Cruise Critic, I would have taken them at their word and not purchased any Certificates. But, I knew they were wrong so proceeded to buy them anyway. They were trying to talk me into rebooking the cruise I wanted them applied to but I told them I would not do that since the price had gone up.

We were able to apply both our FCC and two CN Certificates to our cruise next month. As a side note, when we purchased our CN Certificates aboard the Joy this last February, I asked them if I would be able to apply them to a cruise already booked. They told me no. Actually, they told me no twice as I went back and spoke to someone else. When we got home, I called NCL directly and had two Certificates applied.

Yes, we ate there a few times on the Escape. Quick, easy and not crowded with a great atmosphere.

Thank you for reporting on your cruise. I am also interested in more information on snorkel park as there are a lot of mixed reviews. What was the cost to get in and then to rent chairs and an umbrella? I also read that there is a lot of glass in the sand. Did you find this to be true? And do they sell drinks there?

Yes, as long as they are the regular club balcony suites and not the family or large balcony ones. We had the large balcony ones and had to change to regular club balcony. How far out is your sailing? My understanding is that also changes the discount. We got 15% and $100 OBC on each cabin.

Can you use the OBC for CN certificates?

I have another question. If there is a price reduction after booking and you call for updated pricing, will the 10% still apply? Would we be able to receive the 10% off with an updated price? Or is the 10% off only good on the original booking? I hope I am explaining my question correctly.

When the group pricing came through, one of the cabins was about $50 more than four identical cabins. When I inquired, I was told that was because the others were booked a few months earlier. This left me a little unsure as there was a price reduction a few weeks back that we took advantage of for all of the cabins so technically, all five identical cabins should have had the same rates regardless of when they were originally booked. I did end up emailing again and did get the updated pricing for the cabin in question.

We have five Club Balcony Suites with two passengers and one regular balcony cabin with 1 passenger. Total six cabins with 11 passengers.

Can you also apply CNC to an onboard booking for an additional savings?
