  1. So you do not believe anyone that has gotten to a higher Club level 🙄 The top section of the page you posted the link to just tells you if you take a cruise of that length how many credits you get NOT how many you need to reach the club level
  2. I am not sure you comprehend what you are reading You will get 5 credits for a cruise of 55 to 64 days not that you NEED 55 days to get Bronze As explained by many above
  3. Maybe they will give an FCC for the difference or hopefully an upgrade 🙂 Like mot things in life you buy something it will go on sale at some point 🙄
  4. I shop rather than leave it on the table Maybe buy a bottle of wine or 2 for dinner which we normally do not do but if they are giving out OBC I will use it 😉
  5. Thanks I did not know you could us Hilton & Marriott points for airfare that is why I asked 🤔
  6. If you take 5 cruises up to 24 days you will get 1 credit for each I do not think my math is that bad 5 x 7 day cruises =35 days = Bronze 5 x 10 day cruises = 70 days = Bronze 5 x 20 day cruises = 100 days = Bronze 1 RTW cruise 180 days = Gold All depends on how you work the numbers Where are you seeing minimum number of days to get to the next level?
  7. Train/ Bus /Private transfer/ shared transfer with tour Are you staying in London? Londontoolkit dot com has lots of info
  8. If you use a TA & have a specific question re your booking you need to go through your TA If you have a generic question Oceania reps may help you or if booking excursions & dinner reservations they can help Dealing with air or discounts or new pricing you need to use your TA Getting a non stop flight has nothing to do with being in economy it is to do with the routing & the contracts O has with airlines using the city pairs you are using That is what they are getting paid for If you do not trust your TA to do the job then next cruise find a different TA or book direct
  9. If you do a port intensive cruise 1st then stay on land for a week or so then a less intensive cruise before you head home your DH may appreciate the down time at the end of the trip
  10. Did you call ?? "Limited-Time Offer. Please contact Oceania Cruises or your preferred Travel Advisor for special fares. Call today to book!"
  11. Agents do not get commission on port charges/taxes Well maybe you can just tell the TA to keep the refund as a tip 😉
  12. If your cruise is on the list just call your TA to see if you can get the deal https://www.oceaniacruises.com/special-offers/savings I am not seeing any in April if that is the month you are sailing
  13. I am not sure Oceania has any pull with the airlines to get you rebooked ASAP When we had an issue with a delayed flight (cruise air but not O) as soon as we heard we would be delayed by hours we headed quickly to the Special services desk to get vouchers for meals They were waiting for new aircraft to be ready so no need to get a new flight we were headed home anyway But 5 hrs in LHR we wanted food vouchers to tide us over Get in line for the special services & call the airline while waiting in line & see what they can do for you They have the power not Oceania JMO
  14. It would be much cheaper if they just sent blank luggage tags to people I for one am not paying big buck for O cruises to have mess around printing out my luggage tags If I wanted to do that I could save money & cruise on a main stream line .. well maybe not 😲
  15. Maybe you need to find a new TA Stop giving the TA your business if they are not working for your best interests
  16. it depends on how many others want a 2 top at that time I would say in the Specialties that is prime time so maybe an issue Dinners seem to take 1.5 to 2 hrs average so the turnover is not as fast then We have had 6:30 res & are still there at 8pm GDR should not be a problem they have lots of 2 tops JMO
  17. Back in the old days the Blue book had more information like who the Officers were on the ship & a much nicer book The past maybe 7 yrs they are not really that useful anymore What set Oceania apart from the Main stream lines was the book & luggage tags The only useful thing was the luggage tags no messing with having to print them off For new to Oceania people the book was a nice keepsake as some have posted here You get all the other info by email in the Final Cruise Summary & you can get the PDF excursions list from O or your TA Unless they have a desk set up pre porters with tags it will be a royal pain & I am sure the porters are not going to wanting to fill out a few thousand tags on embarkation day Time will tell how this plays out JMO YMMV
  18. I thought I had problems just getting someone to look in on the cat You have a zoo to look after 😄
  19. Having to get baggage tags at the port will be a major PITA JMO
  20. We have not received brochures in years Had our TA get our name off the list Sometime I would like to see the major ones but not going into that rabbit hole again LOL
  21. I believe the taxi is a still a flat rate $27 plus tip Or if you use UBER that might work Check the Florida departures https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/386-florida-departures/
  22. Worth a try all they can do is say no 😉 Do the math to make sure it is worth any extra $
