  1. I do not believe you can UPGRADE before the cruise you have to wait until you are onboard "Yes, guests may upgrade the House Select Beverage Package to the Prestige Select beverage package once onboard only" Then you pay the $30 PD pp rate poorly worded by O but what else is new JMO
  2. I see you found the roll call https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2802092-aug-30-2023-london-to-new-york-transatlantic-old-new-world-medley/
  3. try it 😉 It may work out I think if you pre book it is supposed to be $59.95 but onboard it will be $69.95 That is how I interpreted the website description
  4. It is not always Sunday that the special brunch happens it does not happen on all sailings usually on longer sailings IME
  5. I would have your TA purchase it for you or call O direct If you selected the O Life Bev deal you may not be able to pre pay the upgrade
  6. they are a 3rd party company they do not run the tours You would be better to check for local guides IMO
  7. just getting any communication is helpful when you know something is going on Oceania is not know for it's communication onboard Like when Noro is aboard the only way you know is when the crew start washing everything JMO
  8. maybe that is what I read wine pairing dinner will happen on Vista 😉
  9. If you use the stain remover that should work with the provided soap
  10. when I compared the price on Oceania site in CAD (we do not see USD) then go & look at a TA site that has it in USD then do the bank rate conversion O's rate has been very good as mentioned it had been good compared to the bank rate for several years now
  11. 1)could be a supply issue with only so many vendors so once the bus is full that is it 2) the cruise is shortening hours in port so the tour is no longer feasable 3) the port will be cancelled You could try to find a local tour but I would make sure that if the ship does not port you will not be out any $$
  12. I thought I read that Privee will have wine pairing dinners so maybe they feel confident they can do it themselves 🤔
  13. yes when things go pear shaped during the cruise you will hear that a lot but wait! then they book another cruise Too bad about your situation there not sure it could have been prevented or not Seems like the authorities there are cracking down but I wonder how many lines have divers onboard & can go down to check what is growing on the hull when at sea ?? Just thinking out loud
  14. SOP for Oceania They rarely tell the PAX what is going on
  15. have you been reading the thread that people are posting LIVE I know you think Oceania is the bees knees but times are changing
  16. Are you embarking or disembarking there? Staying on the island? https://www.visitbarbados.org/
  17. so you would have saved a bit by paying the $30 upgrade if you drink a couple of doubles + per day 🤔
  18. Changes are happening on Oceania as well What Oceania will look like in a few months may be different that the O we all know & loved in the past I for one will not pay premium prices for shorter port times , inferior food etc YMMV
  19. must be a recent problem with some invasive species
  20. Thanks Do people actually look at the Names of the cruises?? 😃 I go by the dates but call me weird 😉
  21. I believe you are right The free ones were Pina Colada etc with out the booze easy to make https://www.thepreismans.com/riviera16_menus.htm#main_bar
  22. Is it over already I though it started on the 4th?? Well now you can afford a few more double Scotches 😉
  23. the closer to the sailing you do this it may be more difficult to add people unless you have a spot reserved already if you book a cabin with 4 it usually can change a pax for a fee if you book a cabin for 3 then it may not be possible they have to have space in the lifeboats & that is capacity controlled Best to check with the cruise line before making any reservations
  24. solution do not buy them 😉 like all things in life we have choices
