  1. probably not you will get a cash refund on the last full day of the cruise for any refundable credit left
  2. Just book the tours you want now then onboard ask Destinations services to use the SBC to pay for them or use the SBC for something else
  3. You drink Canadian wine 🤔 Maybe in your travels I see Whole foods & even Target carry it in some areas Near Hershey check Giant Foods https://www.kickinghorsecoffee.com/where-to-buy?DEFCTRY=1&DEFLANG=1 Ok back to the topic sorry to hijack
  4. sorry off topic but if you like a bold coffee flavour see if you can get Kicking Horse brand where you live
  5. They can check the Countries you are visiting to see if they need a VISA https://www.mfa.gr/en/visas/visas-for-foreigners-traveling-to-greece/countries-requiring-or-not-requiring-visa.html https://www.guideconsultants.com/turkish-passport-visa-free-countries-list-2022/ It is up to the pax to do their due diligence I often check the VISA service site to see what is required then go to the site of the Country we are going to & see if we can apply online or not
  6. that is interesting Usually the fish on O is good I usually get the Always Available salmon in the GDR but grilled not poached HAL on our last 2 cruises had a lot of pasta dishes on offer The one good thing on HAL was the food arrived HOT to the table Yes coffee on the main stream lines is an acquired taste 🙂 Good thing there is a cruise line to suit everyone ..you just need to find the one that works for you
  7. I will say the W/C on the R ships are small but functional a lot of people like the R ships But if trying Oceania I would go with one of their larger ships Marina/Riviera or Vista but then again the thermostat will be an issue not sure what lines have thermostats with the off button maybe someone will comment JMO
  8. Why not just used the ignore feature & you will not be tempted to respond 🙂
  9. So I am guessing you have not looked at the website for Oceania or the brochures you can see sample menus for the restaurants They have a cooked to order grill in the Terrace where you can get a variety of fish/meats/lobster daily Specialty Coffee is available no charge The best way to see if they might suit you is to try a 10 day plus cruise & decide for yourself Everyone has different wants/needs JMO
  10. looks like speculation from some cruise pax 🤔
  11. Do you drink specialty coffees or sodas eat in the specialty restaurants ? (These are included on Oceania ) Do not forget to factor those costs into the comparisons Are you comparing Oceania with or without air prices ? For us we are not foodies but Oceania food was so much better than the HAL cruises we were on but food is subjective so YMMV Enjoy whatever cruise you choose
  12. I wish my cat could go then I can get back to cruising sooner 😉 But your Cabin Category needs to be AVAILABLE Fine print !!
  13. I would say Viking might be cheaper than Oceania & Azamara they are more premium lines than Luxury The smaller the ship the more $$ 😉 Depends on what you consider Luxury to be
  14. Keep in mind your Cat has to be available to get the deal Not all cruises will be in the sale
  15. I have not been in the Executive lounge but the Concierge lounge would be a squeeze if free alcoholic drinks were served https://www.cruisecritic.com/photos/ships/riviera-607/concierge-lounge-321170/concierge-lounge--v14124379/ https://www.cruisecritic.com/photos/ships/riviera-607/executive-lounge-321171/executive-lounge--v14125025/
  16. Barristas usually had a few cookies mini sandwiches etc as you probably know I have not been on the O ships post covid & since it was upgraded the space is expanded & according posts it now has wine in the evenings plus other food items bagels toast etc during the day There were photos of Riviera & some of the offerings in one of the threads here Not sure if the R class ships have the New offerings or still just a selection of small bites Yes I know where to find DH just follow the food 😉
  17. Go to the top FIND A CRUISE then see who sails to SP Then see what one fits your budget Big ship small ship? Paul Gauguin/Windstar/Ponant/Regent NCL/Princess/ RCCL/ Oceania/Viking
  18. it is a small space maybe the size of an C cabin free drinks are Coffee/tea/sodas /juice snacks are like the Barristas prior to the updated menu Newspapers & TV computer/printer (when it works) Concierge at certain hours You would need to be very high roller to avoid the crush if they opened it up to loyalty members below the Presidents circle level😉
  19. I believe they have done that route before You do not actually go to Antarctica but you know that the ports like the Falklands are hit or miss Search the forum back before 2020 I am sure you will find the comments or the roll calls for back then
  20. They are not really that special you are not missing much JMO
  21. yeah that does not work either Had my card fly out of the plastic holder thank goodness it went onto the pool deck below
  22. yes check the deck plan Deck 9 & Deck 11
