The way I am reading it & I could be wrong If people book Privee they can do the Dom Perignon menu (for a fee) that was offered in La reserve as an option to the other menus offered in Privee I guess time will tell what Oceania has in mind Remember when they first started with Privee it was $1000 & you got to choose a special menu with the Chef I guess that did not fly as well as expected & they lowered the fee & just have food from Polo & Toscana

Did you get a booking number ? if not you may not have a cruise with them I agree check online to see if you have any booking

do a bunch of 7 or 10 day cruises or an ATW cruise you will be in the upper tier sooner 😉

I would probably choose a smaller ship if the crowds or noise will be a factor for your son Depends on your budget what cabin to choose Would your son be OK on his own in a cabin then consider he would be paying single supplement which can range for 50 to 100% more than the price shown Most lines now are pretty casual but usually long slacks & button down shirt are required for dinner venues except the buffet If you have a local travel agency it may be worth sitting down with them & discussing your needs

maybe to do with the limited capacity or covid ..or an IT clitch In the past we book our selection day/time then "INVITE A GUEST" tab add their booking number/name then do the next couple but that was pre covid There have been a lot of changes since then

Might be worth looking at itineraries on the smaller ships & not if they have the "Luxury" label Try some different lines to see what suits you best What others like may not be the same as what you like Some lines already have their 2024 schedules out We tried a "Luxury" line truthfully for us it was not any better than the Premium line we like JMO

Not sure about Italy but in some ports you may have to get off while they zero the ship usually about 1 hr but other ports you can stay onboard They will send a notice to your cabin a few days ahead
