I am not really interested in sailing on Seabourn just to get cheaper biz class flights Is the cruise fare comparable with O ? So will just book our own air or use O air depending on the circumstances JMO

Is this a cruise or land trip? What cruise line does all Canada ports? Sounds good to me

I think O Life has different rules but not sure they might be able to swap them but as I said check with DS

What ports will you be stopping it then we can advise you better ?

I am guessing the OP is doing an East coast cruise so many of the ports will be fine with USD They are used to Americans on the cruises They are in the UK so maybe exchanging USD to CAD is more of a problem Most of the ports have an ATM near the port building where they could get some CAD for tour guide tips otherwise use a CC for shopping Give the crew tips in USD They will also be stopping in some US ports so can use the USD there

Once onboard take a card to their cabin & leave it for them inviting them to meet in a specific location (pick a time) Be careful they do not spot you in the port before boarding Have fun

You can try Destination Services & see if other tours are available then but it will be hit or miss by then

Thanks They used to have a sign on the counter with the breakfast smoothie listed I guess they do not do that anymore

They will have other souffles not with Goat cheese Be sure to let them know that you have a problem with any foods in advance Your TA can put a note on your file & follow up with the Maitre'd onboard They will work with you JMO Lyn

JMO on La Reserve I know many people rave about it BUT We are not into fancy rich food & 1 glass of wine for me is plenty more & I may not make it to dessert Looking at the menus I would see maybe one or 2 dishes that I would eat so for us it is not worth the expense Everyone has their likes & dislikes I dislike when others say "Oh you will love xxx" well maybe they would but maybe they will not Let people make their own choice YMMV

I would look at the La Reserve menus then if you do not think you would enjoy what is being served it is not for you We booked one of the Specialties & asked for a table with a view for our special occasion Privee is very nice space but nicer to share with friends All comes down to Personal choice Enjoy the cruise

If you are onboard can you walk by WAVES sometime & see if they have them on the menu board where the Ice cream/milkshake are served ? Thanks Interesting that O says things are available on all ships but pax report otherwise

I am not sure if you have to complete the transaction before the discount appears I believe it does show before the payment goes through best to just call the cruise line to be sure JMO

When you go to your cruise (it may be too early for 2024) they give you a price for the package they vary from cruise to cruise Unlimited you can do daily tours if in a port for 1 price The YWC is a minimum number of tours required for a discounted price Check under Your cruise once logged into MY ACCOUNT under the excursion tab it may be there but then it may be too far out for the excursion pricing

Call NCL & have the rep do it for you Did you go to the check out ? On the sister company the discount shows up once you input your CC at check out

Some shops in the port cities will take USD but ask first If you have a CC with no foreign transaction fees just use it Tips are tricky not everyone will use USD as they may not travel to the USA or they have to pay the exchange rate at their back & will get less than what you give them You could always tip the crew with USD they will be happy with them enjoy the cruise

They usually have fresh fruit in Waves at the smoothie station as well as the buffet part No need to wander around gathering the the ingredients 😉 Just ask
