  1. There's a whole bunch of scanned menus on my blog - https://blog.rakkor.uk both PG and Britannia - I don't think they will have changed much in the last year
  2. This was the Room Service menu on our recent cruises on QE _ assume it's the same for all classes of cabin, we were in PG
  3. The Lido grill is the usual mix of Burgers and Dogs with chips, pre-covid there was a salad bar alongside but that wasn't there on our last couple of cruises. Daily Programme Link
  4. There are a bunch of daily programmes, including our recent QE cruises, that I've scanned and posted on my blog Daily programme link Which may help answer these types of questions
  5. My blog LINK covers our last cruises post covid, all of these were on QE in Britannia and PG and there are menus posted there under "daily menus" if you want to look
  6. Took a stroll down to Sea Caves last evening to eat at Nature, the sunsets on this side of Cyprus are really something
  7. Given the fact that the waiting staff were probably run off their feet looking after passengers who were in quarantine and unable to leave their staterooms I think you are being unfair.
  8. It was 33 today, not sure what that is in old money, with plenty of humidity. The tiles surrounding the pool are scorching hot and need to be traversed with caution in bare feet
  9. we're on a two villa holiday. We received an a email from the holiday company informing us of a late cancellation, so, being off work and the cancellation butting up against our existing booking we decided it was too good to miss and we're here for a month. Firstly at Filip, which is beyond Coral Bay near Agios Georgios. Next up is Katerina near Yeriskipou on the 2nd July. So either side of Paphos.
  10. We're back in Cyprus for the first time since 2019 after having our Villa holiday cancelled repeatedly over Covid. It's very nice to be uncomfortably hot when you have a cool swimming pool at the end of your sunbed. The pool had the added bonus of hydrotherapy recuperation on the broken pelvis, my right leg is feeling stronger every day
  11. I think BBC World, Sky News International, MSNBC & CNBC Business and Sport 24 are the live stations - Used to have FOX as well but I haven't seen that on QE since the restart - 5 days quarantine in March means you see far too much TV
  12. Sorry Roscoe, you can keep applying for Shareholder benefit as long as you hold the shares, over many years assuming that Carnival keep allowing it
  13. There are USB ports on all of the TVs on all three Queens. I generally take a thumb drive with several films and maybe a TV series to watch if we are at a loss. A word of caution though, you need to be pretty dexterous to slot them in place a the TVs are usually flush mounted on the walls.
  14. 100 Carnival shares currently cost GBP675 ish in today's depressed market, In the last 12 months I've had a 7 night cruise, two twelve night ones and I've a 14 night one upcoming I've had or will have had 550 USD in OBC which seems like a pretty good ROI to me. Plus I've still got the shares as a long term investment if the market picks up again.
  15. I used to swear by bar soap until Jane introduced me to bath/body buffs now a squeeze of liquid soap on one lathers up nicely in the shower.
  16. WHen we were on the crossing part of our 2019 Carribean cruise, two of our table mates who were on a back to back had a split package as she didn't drink. So it's definitely possible.
  17. We are doing this in September with a couple of days in a hotel for my Birthday, How is it getting a cab from the port to the hotel & and more importantly from the airport to the ship ? I''ve booked 4 suitcases on EayJet to accomdate Jane's shoe collection.
  18. Here's a montage of some of my partners outfits from our 2016 cruise, some of which are still going strong Some of Jane's outfits
  19. I made it, albeit with a couple of cheats (bought lemon curd and packet jelly and 100s &1000s instead of mixed peel) for a BBQ at friends and it wasn't too hard. It was tasty though!
  20. Oh yes! Jane poo-pooed them when I first used them, but came around when she saw how quickly they allow me to pack and unpack my case.
