  1. But they sell, quite well, even at those prices. And from the RGC perspective, pushing people to the even higher prices at Silversea isn't a bad thing.
  2. Since the earliest cruise is ~90 days away there is nothing announced yet.
  3. There is extra OBC available for a Labor Day Bonus on new bookings, but nothing mentioned about Cruise Planner purchases.
  4. The MoveUp program has been successful. Aside of an extenuating circumstance, you have virtually no chance of getting a free upgrade. SV's are definitely available with a MoveUP bid. On E class ships it may be slightly different since SV's are booked solid, but I don't see why they would withhold them. Someone will cancel or upgrade elsewhere along the way.
  5. Even though RCL cruisers have a bizarre fascination with a loyalty lounge, there is nothing similar on Celebrity.
  6. FV category is not a concierge class cabin, so no, you do not have a concierge class reservation. There are only 2 aft CC cabins which are both accessible cabins.
  7. This is the current policy. I would expect nothing at all that is beyond what is outlined here. https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/cel-covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds-policy.pdf
  8. Formal Night gets a modern reboot. Say goodbye to Formal Night, and hello to Evening Chic. It’s your time to shine—your way. Get glamorous. Get chic. Be sophisticated. Now, on up to two nights on every cruise, Evening Chic activities have been introduced, and Evening Chic attire has replaced Formal attire. While dressier than Smart Casual, Evening Chic is intended to be less dressy than Formal attire. Women should feel comfortable wearing: A cocktail dress Skirt, pants or designer jeans with an elegant top Men should feel comfortable wearing: Pants or designer jeans with a dress shirt, button-down shirt or sweater Optional sport coat or blazer Evening Chic means that you can get glamorous and be sophisticated in your own way. If you would like to still wear a tuxedo or formal gown on Evening Chic nights, you absolutely should. All cruises that are 7 nights or longer will feature two Evening Chic nights. Any cruise 6-nights or shorter will feature one Evening Chic night. All other nights of the cruise will feature Smart Casual attire. Celebrity Xpedition will continue to feature casual attire for the entire cruise. Smart Casual attire can be enjoyed every other night of your cruise. Women should feel comfortable wearing: Skirt, pants or jeans with a casual top. Men should feel comfortable wearing: Pants or jeans with a short sleeve sport shirt. Note: T-shirts, swimsuits, robes, bare feet, tank tops, baseball caps and pool wear are not allowed in the main restaurant or specialty restaurant at any time. Shorts and flip-flops are not allowed in the evening hours. The dress code will be enforced at all restaurants. And guests are asked to follow the Smart Casual or Evening Chic dress code in the Celebrity Theater for all evening performances. The daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening.
  9. There is a noticeable difference. You can't stream anything with the basic plan. But "is it good" is about as subjective as "is the food good". I typically upgrade and never have had any complaints but I also don't expect it to work like I'm sitting at home either. During hours when most people are in their cabins it's slower. You can always try basic for a few days and upgrade later if you need to.
  10. It would have given you additional OBC and an upgrade to the premium beverage package.
  11. It will be 7:30 by the time you get bags if your flight is on time. Uber and Lyft at FLL can take forever. It maybe be well past 8 by the time you are off the airport grounds. Suite guests can board any time. Typically after about 11am. Get a ride to 17th street area and hangout at any of many coffee shops or restaurants. Several local options and the usual Panera and Starbucks (although that one is tiny).
  12. Celebrity allowed family of employees to come on board for the day as late as 2019 that I can remember. Travel agent groups still do tours and people previewing the ship with sales (FAM visits) is not uncommon but that is arranged well in advance. A random guest just checking out a new ship would be pretty unlikely.
  13. The cabin reclassification occurs on cruises that depart roughly the third week of April 2023. On sailings after this date all aft facing Sky Suites are sold as Sunset Sky Suite rather than S1's on the corners and S2's in-between. Aqua Sky Suites are also available after that date.
  14. Phone is fine. Xpress pass goes into your wallet, open your test result if you need it, swipe, done. Couldn't be easier and you'll pass by the ones thumbing through their 3 ring binders looking for documents.
  15. Discecting the invoices gets way overblown on here. If you had to prove what you had, all you need is your rate code then a copy of whatever purchases or upgrades you had made via the order history page. Your inclusions are tied to your rate description itself.
  16. There is some internal confusion about this. It’s really no different than upgrading after final payment to a different cabin category at the prevailing rate. You can’t simply add All Inclusive or downgrade to Cruise Only, but there isn’t anything that would prevent this as long as you are clear you are willing to pay the current rate.
  17. You cannot do either of those things. You would have to rebook at prevailing rates for today's Cruise Only price.
  18. You have an All Included rate with a non refundable deposit. Currently there is no Aqua Class rate without All Included.your Celebrity guest copy would show essentially the same thing.
  19. It will make sense pretty quickly when Celebrity stops covering the costs for COVID related care onboard.
  20. A freshen up and blue hull is all that can be expected that a passenger will see this time around. Theres some speculation that the Revolution took a backseat to RCG’s recent purchase of the Silver Endeavor…
  21. I would expect prices to potentially increase rather than decrease.
  22. Bid the maximum amount. That is all you can do. An agent has nothing to do with this. If you truly don’t care how much it costs, it makes more sense to just upgrade your cabin.
  23. Same as any resort. I was happy to pay $18 for that bottle of aloe with lidocaine after an unfortunate mishap with some sunscreen that didn’t quite make it to my back.
  24. Postponed at the last minute until tomorrow.
  25. Tests are very easy to find in Rome. Very easy. Rarely an appointment is needed. Most cost 20€.
