  1. Not enough information. Call Carnival or your Travel Agent.
  2. It doesn't say anything. It is a test. We've already been around this bend in the river in keeping on a cruising conversation.
  3. I believe some here would claim first degree murder and involuntary manslaughter are the same because, you know, someone is dead.
  4. You could try suing them, but you can't claim you didn't know. Carnival also advertises the wrong room service prices. First world problems.
  5. It doesn't mean you are safe to cruise. A different test and observation should be required at the port.
  6. Cold pizza never killed anyone. Get it earlier and leave i in the cabin for later. Problem solved.
  7. She obviously was stressed before getting on the ship from events outside of Carnival's control. I'm not interested in overthinking who, what, when, how or assigning blame or fault. I was interested in the cruise and the ports, but am ceasing to care. We have our own British Isles cruise coming up in a few weeks and it will be marvellous - even it it rains every damn day.
  8. I don't doubt something happened, but I also know that attitude is contagious and there is more than one side to a story. For Carnival to text everyone? They might well have. How many people had cell phones that were turned on and work in Europe? Those that were stuck in traffic already knew. How many would complain about the cost of the text or phone call? The hot waiting area to check in wasn't on Carnival. Air conditioning isn't common in England and the temperatures are soaring. Benefit of the doubt also applies to those who aren't given an opportunity to tell their side.
  9. Stores don't even want returns. They are just saying keep it.
  10. That explains why Walmart and others are slashing prices on thousands of items.
  11. The paper copy is just a list of activities and food (the most important stuff). I prefer to download the pdf file from the Intranet.
  12. I see Royal stock plummeted today due to lower demand and the fact that they are trying to raise almost a billion dollars via notes. Looks like Carnival was ahead of the curve on this.
  13. They are going to get paid one way or another. Your approval is not needed. Without the burger flipper, the business closes. I see that now with some restaurants closing not because of lack of business, but because of lack of staff.
  14. I'm having a hard time thinking of a CEO that went to jail that didn't deliberately break the law for their own profit. The most recent past leader of Carnival was a leader a Boeing and before that Monsanto. Even someone who flips burgers deserves a living wage. Lacking that, you get an entitlement society.
  15. https://thepointsguy.com/news/carnival-ceo-josh-weinstein-interview/
  16. This is only mid 2022. Not overly close to nearly three years.
  17. I find it amusing that a similar but opposite thread can be found on the Princess board.
  18. I believe a cruise line has the right to change "assigned" cabins and certain loyalty level doesn't matter. I think they can even change ships, itinerary, or just about anything else. Check the ticket contract
  19. Once they ticket your flights I think you lose your flexibility.
  20. I think more malarkey. Some things take time to collect and analyze. So many people lack patience.
  21. We probably book more cove balconies than anything else these days, but have tried just about everything except full suites. Need to get that off the bucket list. Direct sun or direct rain can be a bummer. With a wrap, at least part of it should be shady and dry.
  22. Malarkey. Staying within the CC rules, I'll leave it at that
  23. Not yet. We have one on a cruise next year We love aft wraps though. Not sure the bowling alley will replace that, but the price sure is a lot better. If the wraps don't have two loungers I just request one from the cabin steward with a request for an ice bucket and both appear before sailaway. No extra tip required, although I do always tip more at the end of the cruise
