  1. For the sake of this conversation, false rumors aside, Carnival currently requires testing for the Bahamas. Due to destination requirements, ALL guests on itineraries that include Bahamas, Bermuda and Grand Cayman must complete a pre-cruise test, irrespective of the length of the cruise.
  2. Not bad for the oldest ship in the Carnival fleet, eh?
  3. When is the last time you tried the striploin?

  5. I see it includes upgrades to HVAC systems https://www.carnivalcorp.com/news-releases/news-release-details/carnival-corporation-upgrading-global-fleet-fuel-and-energy

  7. All these people leaving Carnival, yet occupancy rates continue to rise. Yep, nobody is irreplaceable.
  8. You can get wings on Carnival at midnight. Delivered to you. Don't even need to put pants on. What a game changer.
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if Royal ends up testing everyone at the pier. Time will tell.
  10. The post I replied to stated since 2018 to which I replied baloney. If I care enough to look and remember to, I'll check next Carnival cruise. Right now, I don't.
  11. Cans can't be tampered with like bottles can, but they can be messed with.
  12. The Midnight Chocolate buffet was replaced by midday chocolate extravaganza years ago.
  13. I thought The Local was only on NCL's newest ships, but no matter, I have no current plans to sail on NCL again. Certainly not to mingle with 4am zombies.
  14. I prefer the fresh, made to order pizzas of Carnival, not something the flies have had time to molest.
  15. Let's see - RCL has a 522 debt to equity ratio; CCL has a 354 debt to equity ratio. Hmmm.
  16. The customer isn't always right, and frankly, some need to be fired.
  17. Royal has weasel words on their site, too.
  18. Seems lame. Nothing is becoming more restricted so really no impact. Maybe before Monday Carnival or Royal will change.
  19. Royal had time to start the new protocols today. They chose not to. Why not? Because they have doubts.
  20. Royal Caribbean new protocols don't begin until August 8. Carnival's began today. It is Royal that is behind the times.
  21. Among other things, it appears Royal requires a certified medical health certificate and besides Bermuda, The following require a Certificate of Recovery to be presented with a negative test result, in order to go ashore: {so the Certificate looks meaningless to me) St. Kitts Panama Panama Canal St. Lucia Guatemala Colombia Trinidad & Tobago St. Vincent the Grenadines Haiti Cayman Islands Bermuda
  22. I see Royal's Certificate of Recovery policy differs from the Carnival policy. Perhaps Carnival should adopt the Royal policy?
  23. John doesn't make policy, but people sure like to blame him if they don't like it.
