  1. I think the first major step was eliminating mask requirements.
  2. What would the pressure drop be in that 200 meter 16" hose be and how much marine life could it suck up?
  3. Still nothing new to see here: Due to destination requirements, ALL guests on itineraries that include Bahamas, Bermuda and Grand Cayman must complete a pre-cruise test, irrespective of the length of the cruise. What other cruise lines do is irrelevant.
  4. Can't use Verify unless/until they do another update or the rules change.
  5. Cheaper for me to pay as I go for drinks. Never have and never will pay for Cheers. Theme parks don't do much for me.
  6. The high rollers got the cash flow going which is what Carnival needed to jump start, but I see cutbacks coming for that group in the future.
  7. Most of Europe goes on holiday in August.
  8. I imagine all it would take is for some high roller gamblers to convince the casino to put out some late night snacks - perhaps require x number of points for admission. Oh, that's right, many gamblers are already cruising for free. What more do they want? Room service is still going on after 11pm.
  9. Long cruises such as Journeys and sometimes the occasional cruise where port arrival time was afternoon.
  10. and the cruise hogs discovered them and emptied the tray faster than they could fill them. As always, the Me Me Me cult ruined it for everyone else.
  11. I would never assume new, one or two ship cruise lines know what they are doing. Carnival might have more lawyers on staff that those lines have employees.
  12. Baloney. Some stations have bacon servers, some don't. BTW, Guy's Burger bar no longer has bacon shards. I used to get those to add to pizzas.
  13. Reading comprehension is a lost art among the chronically hangry.
  14. Grey Goose martinis on the oldest rust bucket in the fleet. Looking forward to that one more time before she retires. I was on Mardi Gras in March. I imagine the OP will tell us what it is next month.
  15. There may be something going on now, but I am unaware of a history of issues. I do know some people will say public areas are always warm and others say they are cold. There isn't one temperature that will please everyone
  16. WE were on Horizon in July of last year and there were no such problems.
  17. It depends on location. If you get bacon at an omelette station or at least one buffet station there will be a server, but I have also seen self-service trays at other stations. Don't know if they still are set up like that. I don't do a lot of breakfasts on cruises these days. I'll have to try a Deli BLT next Carnival cruise - if it is real bacon and not turkey bacon. They used to overserve it.
  18. Absolutely. and easiest next to buying precooked.
  19. I don't know that it does, but it certainly could. On embarkation day the doors are wide open for hours while people are boarding. I've noticed on several cruises the lobby is warmer than it should be and for a deck or two. The next day temps are back to normal.
  20. Verifly is probably still trying to figure out what to do because some 5 day cruises will require testing and some won't. If unvaccinated you can't use anyway.
  21. That was then. This is now. The OP made no mention of Cheers. Also between earlier and now the gathering was suspended and has since been restored. The OP should check it out. No need to stay if they don't like it.
