Thanks. I just re-applied for our Feb 2023 cruise on 9/3 and it was approved in just 3 days. For some reason it was rejected on our first request.

We would say it was OK but not great, as we remember it. I wouldn't rush back.

That's strange. I usually have problems like yourself but on our last cruise in March I never had even one problem after boarding the ship. Of course there were some things that didn't load properly when at home but it didn't slow us down on boarding for a minute. What didn't seem to work correctly? Did you ask them to correct it for you?

I believe you are correct. I keep interchanging the FCC and FCD acronyms, which is confusing to people.

Funny thing is that before the Covid shutdown they were giving those retractable badge holder reels away for free on the Regal and Royal. Times have changed. 😉

That's correct, and also the medallion system is much to slow for the bartenders to input every transaction at the very time the order was served. Consequently they accumulate a pile of paper tickets during a busy time and later enter them into the system during a slow period. If there was an error in charging the drink to the wrong pension there's no way to verify it at that point, so errors can and do occur. It's not that hard to check you account daily and get it corrected as soon as you discover the error.

Unlimited Specialty coffee's, Expresso and Cappuccino's. We seemed to drink many more coffees than at home- 6 to 8 cups a day some days where as at home we never drink coffee after dinner.

If I recall correctly there is a short time period when you can still purchase the FCC's after leaving the ship. I would contact Princess ASAP.

We've eaten at the buffet on ships that had an imbalanced propeller and it's really bad when a glass of water almost vibrates off the table. You need one hand to hold onto the glass while eating with a fork in the other hand.

I'm beginning to think the person on the Discovery was only misinformed and didn't actually try to use the OBC for his casino account. On a side note, for a future trip we've received OBC that's specifically shown to be used for tours only which I know isn't completely true. We'll be using it for the casino as well as other OBC.

So you see that 15 is quite a lot of drinking for one person, unless you're a professional at the job.

Actually you should feel lucky that they had an available cabin to move you into. We were on the Crown a long time ago with the same problem & no relief.

I'd venture to say that one night would probably be a dress to impress night (not formal) which would have a better than usual menu. I'm still not sure what it would be.

While I don't carry around their blue bag I always have my jacket and eyeglass case to hold my table at the buffet while I get my food. In all the years we've only had someone sit at the table while we were gone.

I simply pass it over to my husband. He's like a disposal at my side for my unwanted drinks.😉

Even for a heavy drinker, 15 drinks in a 24 hour period is sufficient by any standards. I'm sure that Princess did a lot of research before setting that max limit.

Some people still share drinks with friends but now Princess knows that the upper limit is capped at 15 drinks.
